Adding Comments

Not sure where to post so decided on general stamping talk.

Whenever I put a card into my favourites, or whenever I leave a comment on a card I can never get back to where I was (ie., the gallery I was in before I selected a specific card)

Can anyone help?

when ever i leave a comment on a card...

i hold the ctrl button when i click on it so it opens in a new window. post the comment and after it adds it i can just close the window.

then i am right back where i started.


hope this make sense as i am a bit tech challenged...

i should add that i don't 'favorite' cards so i can not help with that one. i would like to be able to organize them and i can't so it would just drive me CRAZY!!!

Or a right click on the link... select option 'open link in a new tab' or 'open link in a new window'.. whatever you prefer.. just another way of doing the same thing mentioned above.

Thanks so much -- I will try this. Even though I've read they "fixed" it so you wouldn't have to click back so much, I still have to click about 4 times to get back. That's one of the reasons I leave so few comments. I don't have hours to spend.

To avoid the problem for things you are putting into your favorites, use the new heart button SCS added. Click on it and it turns pink. It does not redirect you like the add to favorites button.
If if the new tab does not work for you, remember when you are looking at a card just above it on the left side you can click on things to take you back to the gallery. For example, if I am in the Branch Out gallery and click on a card. Above the card on the left it says "Home; Stampin' Up A-B sets; Branch Out" Click on the Branch Out button and it takes you back to the Branch out gallery.
Or better yet get Firefox and use their tab system. Absolutely love it. All I have to do is click on the center wheel of my mouse and things will open up in a new tab.

If you are using IE7, they are still working on fixing it. At least, I think that's the problem. It certainly works fine on my PC with Firefox, but not on DH's laptop with IE7. Anway, a fix is on the cards...
