OMG I was watching an EBAY auction for ONE PSX 1995 size K stamp. It's a botanical, Frangipani. Now I may be crazy but I think that's a little much even for a rare stamp.
...and the stamp is "used", and "stained" yet. I laughed when I got to the part about the bidder combining shipping. I thought, honey for that amount of money, you had better combine my shipping!!! Lol. Very pretty stamp, not sure I would pay the price though, even if it is a collectible.
Have a happy stamping day!

Wow, I don't care if it is the last stamp existing of a design, I can't imagine paying that much for a single stamp. No way I could justify it to myself.
WOW - that would be a lot of copic's, and nesties. Wish I had that kind of money. I don't really think I would spend it on one stamp though. Everyone has their priority's though.
My SIL has that same stamp! I will have to tell her about that. She has been stamping forever has many of the large PSX flower stamps.
THe sled one is really cool! I love PSX and wish they would come back in business.
LOL! My SIL gave that stamp to my mom before she moved to NS 2 years ago! My mom has all her stamps beautifully arranged in glass cabinets and that one is featured. I bet my mom would sell it for that kind of money!!
no way, i keep my stamps where they are, i don't only use them, but also collect them. And maybe in the future they are really expensive for others to collect...and i've got them in my drawers
Wow, it would have to be a magical stamp that stamped and colored itself for me to spend that much or be one of a kind handcarved by someone famous, but then you wouldn't be able to use it. It is a beautiful stamp though.
Wow! I love PSX stamps and wish I had the $ to buy more back when they were still in business. I did manage to collect the ENTIRE floral monogram alphabet. Took me several years, and it is gorgeous! I wouldn't sell it, but I wonder if it would go for a good price. If college tuition keeps going up I may have to consider it.
Am I sitting on a gold mine and don't even know it? I hadn't even heard of PSX stamps until I read this thread. Got to looking though some of my stamps because it keep ringing a bell.......lo and behold, I have NINE PSX stamps....One is very large - a Christmas type wreath. I bought them at an estate sale last year - an entire box of stamps, ink, etc. for $20.00 None of the stamps had even been used. Again, am I sitting on the gold mine?
Thats the first time I have been glad that the seller does'nt ship to the UK :-) not that I would even be tempted, its a pretty enough stamp but far surpasses my limit on a stamp from ebay

Wow! Lucky you! $20 sounds like a nice bargain for a box of stamps and supplies especially since some of them are PSX. I hope you have some of the rare or collectible ones. You may want to research their value. Good luck! :-D
Yes, I'm going to be researching them.......also in the box was a stamp of a flower (probably a blue bonnet) made by Motion Stamps out of Arizona and one of a little girl with a dress separate but on the same stamp (like a paper doll) and it is by The Stamp Pad Company out of Mn. Has anyone ever heard of these stamp companies? The one with the paper doll type girl on it is really unique. The wood block is 1 1/2 inch thick!
I thought I really got a good deal. The little lady that was having the estate sale was probably about 85 years old. I asked her if she "stamped" and she said she didn't - she just bought the stamps because they were pretty!!!!!!!!! As I said none of them had been used.
There are probably a couple of PSX stamps I'd pay alot for, not that much, but more than they ever sold for new. I've never seen them for sale on Ebay or anywhere else.

i checked my stamps and i got 9, but only one big one like the ebay one, and it's called honeysuckle, they are wonderful stamps too, thanks for making me feel richer than i felt last night at this time.
Wow! I had no idea. I have many many PSE stamps, and about 15 of the large K size flower stamps. They are the first stamps I bought when I started stamping, long before I heard about Stampin Up! I guess I will have to research their value.

Wow I can't believe that, but now I don't feel so bad for paying so much for Godspeed, but even that came with a few other stamps in the set. Must be nice to have disposable income like that in a recession.
