LSC101 - Faux Chipboard
This challenge was suggested by PenelopePitstop! Thanks Jenny!
Have you not splurged on buying chipboard, yet? Do you not use your chipboard because you're afraid to use it up? Well, this challenge is for you!
We are recycling cardboard to make faux chipboard!

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done! |

LSC Ideas: Please Read!!!!
I recently cleaned out my PM box. I discovered lots of ideas that had gotten buried in my overflowing PMs. I wrote them all down.......... and lost the paper. :eek: I have a couple still in my box, but I need your help. If you have sent me an idea that I haven't used, please resend it.
I won't lose it this time! My secret VSN hostess elf made a beautiful altered notebook for me and it has become my LSC idea keeper. Your ideas are now safe!

Fun, Fun...I was just creating a faux chipboard embellishment that I will have to incorporate onto a card! It is actually a faux replica of a fun new embellishment that I spotted at the LSS today! We'll see....

OK, I can do faux chipboard! Don't have the real thing yet. I think the wheels are turning. Now I just have to hurry up and finish stuff for my Valentine Stamp Camp on Saturday and then I can play!
BTW - great choices for the winners - must have been difficult - I saw some awesome cards!

Yes... It's always difficult to choose. There were a lot of awesome cards! I finally decided that of my faves, the two that I chose best represented the Keeping it Simple idea for my Thursday Spotlight on my blog. The cards are posted there. And each winner will get a special RAK. |

Jenny used her Cuttlebug to cut out a shape. You could also use a template to trace a shape and then cut it out. I free-handed the heart I made on my card. |
