This has been one of THOSE weeks!! Between Tuesday morning and 1:00 a.m. THIS morning I have spent a collective total of 23 HOURS in the hospital/Instacare/ER with family members!! A short/simple procedure my mom was having done on Tuesday turned into a WAAYYYYY over-long thing, with an overnight hospital stay (all is well and she is home resting comfortably), AND my brother had an unfortunate incident last night with a kitchen knife and an avocado … nicked an artery in his hand … NOT pretty!! Didn’t get home until nearly 1:30 a.m. this morning. Hence, the reason I am late getting the challenge up (and I could probably VERY easily get a note from ANY number of doctors!!)!!
The challenge today is a VERY simple one … look at your life for the past 5 days and think of someone who has done a kindness for you. In my case, I am choosing my sister in law, who very happily and VERY quickly brought me my phone charger and a few other necessities when I was stuck at the hospital on Tuesday and my mom’s couple-of-hours-long outpatient procedure turned into an all-day/overnight hospital stay. LOVE my sister in law!!
So, your assignment is simple … make a card of gratitude for your person and deliver it to them … today or tomorrow (or within 48 hours of creating your card, for those who don't actually get a chance to look at/play today's challenge 'til later!)!! That’s pretty much it!!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Gratitude Card
Glad all is working out for your Mom, and hopefully your brother! Perhaps this weekend you can get some quality rest?!? Here's hoping.
Great idea for today's challenge card. I just read an article on Steph's Ingenious Inkling blog about 10 things happy people do. One was to express gratitude. It is my opinion, one of the BIGGEST joys in life is to be of service to others. And ... it feels very good to be blessed with an expression of heart-felt gratitude from someone you have unselfishly given service to.
GASP...glad that all is well now - sorry to hear of your ordeal. I am at work on the caregiving end of the hospital thing now, but will play later, this is a wonderful idea!

Goodness, Wendy! What a crazy week you've had! Glad all turned out well! Great challenge, by the way...funny, I was just thinking this morning that I should make a card for my hubby to let him know how much I appreciate everything he does for our family - he's been putting in a lot of hours at work & at home lately. This is the push I need to actually put my idea into action. Thanks!
Sounds like you have had quite a week, Wendy!! Give my best to your Mom and your brother...hope they mend quickly!!! Thanks for the great challenge...here is my card: Thanks So Much
I love this Acknowledgement Challenge! I took SU's blossom punch, and colored it with some CM felt markers- and then used a water brush to spread the color. I added a tag I trimmed from October Afternoon and punched a small orange tag for my thank you. Have a great Friday!
Wendy...what a lot to go through! Hope you're getting some good sleep now, and that mom is recouperating nicely! Thanks for the great challenge - I am soooo excited to finally do a challenge again. It's been WAY too long!
Sorry you have been having such a hard time I will pray for you and your family.
thanks for a great challenge as I do not acknowledge those I love with cards as much as I would like to

F4A83 IC303 Thanks for Everything You Do
Here is my "Acknowlegement" (gratitude) card. By re-working my original sketch, I was able to incorporate both Friday's F4A and today's IC challenges into my card.
I finally managed to get this challenge card done....worked a 24-hour shift and was so busy I worked on it in bits and pieces. This is for my WONDERFULLY thoughtful friend Beth. She has begum collecting Copic markers and is getting rid of her complete SU! set.....so she GAVE them to me. I tried to pay her several times and she won't let me (I misplaced mine during several moves after my divorce). Her continued kindness is always amazing to me.
That was the perfect challenge for me today - though I'm a bit late for the "official" challenge! Admit the Changes
