Its my turn to host the Free 4 All Friday Challenge this week.
F4A392 National Day of (?)
My challenge to you: Pick something to be YOUR "National Day of" which just says you! It is YOUR National Day and you decide what that is. In Francie's words: "Hostesses always use "national something or other day" for a theme and then we all make cards with that one topic. Let's leave it up to each Crafter to invent their own National whatever day and make a card....I might do "National I hate pink day" and make a card with a lot of colors but no pink, Susie might do "National I love traveling around Australia for months day" and do a travel themed card. Robin could do "National octopus day" because she must have 8 arms to make all the cards she creates". P.S. Don't expect those cards for real, just giving you an idea.
Just for fun(optional, in NO WAY mandatory)Add twine or burlap to your card. *For anyone new to these challenges, this extra imaginary points option is just for your own fun and your own personal challenge IF you choose to.
Sample team: Susie Australia f.schles and me, Stamperrobin Thank you so much ladies!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Here's Garden Riley, busy in his garden, using his watering can. I used orange mesh for the background, and a rough twine tie. This is my early bird card as my DS is about to fly back to Nashville, TN from Bellingham, WA after a wonderful visit. Here's my card in honor of Natl watering can day

Great challenge Robin- thanks! I woke up early and was hungry, so this inspired my card. Used SU's Always set for my embossed heart and the Perfectly Preserved set for my main image. Added some texture with an embossed dotted background and a wooden cherry and stem embellishment. Here's Natl Preserves Day

How fun! I declare this use up your leftovers day! I am on a mission myself to make cards up for a new ministry starting at church and to use up some of the leftovers in my stash. Here's what my table looks like with my leftovers piled into color categories.
And here's my first leftovers day card: Leftover Ladies

My take on the F4A challenge today: Coffee Helps
So my National Day is National Day of Coffee, which really ought to be EVERY day. LOL!!
Thanks, Robin, for a fun challenge.
Anyway, I'm off to complete my daily activities. I will be back tonight when we're relaxing after dinner. Have a great weekend, friends!
Just to let everyone know, I will be gone from this afternoon until Sunday so I may not get to comment on all your cards until Sunday. I don't want you to think I've flaked on you...Going to a crop.
