Default F4A224 - "Wee Bit O' Vellum" - 06/06/14

F4A224 - "Wee Bit O' Vellum" - 06/06/14

I have been paper crafting for at LEAST 15 years ... and I have seen a LOT of trends come and go. And I have the stash of supplies to prove that I bought into EVERY SINGLE ONE!!

Vellum ... it is one of the FEW things that has stood the test of time. I started using/buying vellum WAAAYYY back in the day!! And I can honestly say I have been using it ever since!!

Soooooo ... today's challenge is to add a wee bit o' vellum to your creation (or use a LOT of you wish!)!! Love that stuff!!

Here is my sample:

Just Fur You

Keyword: F4A224

F4A224 Gallery

Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

This is my first time to be the first to post in a challenge (well, I cheated...or, I got lucky, LOL!). I uploaded this card today, and it just so happened I used printed vellum:

I don't get out my vellum very often (I know that needs to change!) so this challenge was the push I needed. I used my vellum on the sentiment.

Smile F4A224 Breathe

I had fun creating this "tattered" bordered card- with Flourishes' Ferns and Fiddles stamp set. sponged the edges and added a vellum overlay to my sentiment. Here's Breathe

Neat challenge, Wendy. I used a whole lot of vellum for my bg...it is a prety patterned one that I picked up at Paper Source. Thanks.

Here is mine.

Even though I had several sheets of vellum, I had never used it until this challenge. But the red and white check vellum went perfect with this stamp. Thanks for opening my eyes to the beauty and ease of using vellum.:p

I made two cards one with vellum and one without. Here is the link to the one I posted here on SCS. They look the same, except I stamped one on a CS panel and one on vellum:

Click on my blog to see the card with vellum. Thanks for Looking!
