I am always a little more than fascinated with holidays. There is a stinkin holiday for EVERYthing. And it seems that most days have at least one or TWO holidays commemorated on that day. Well guess what today is???? National Chocolate Cake Day!! (I seriously think we all need to call in sick and stay home, watch Pride and Prejudice the A&E version and eat chocolate cake ALL DAY!!)
With that in mind, the challenge is to use Chocolate Chip (brown) and Crumb Cake (Kraft) cardstock on your creation. The rest is up to you. Heck, if you wanna actually STAMP a chocolate cake, no one is gonna stop you! And if you wanna send me some REAL chocolate cake, p/m me and Ill send you my address (har-de-har!)!

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

This makes me want to raid the kitchen for chocolate, a little late night snacking..... But I'll probably create something manly with these colors predominating. Awesome inspiration for us, Wendy.
Wouldn't I love a slice right about now, but I have it to look forward to later tonight at a ladies' retreat! I made two using some of my favorite colors...gotta love those neutrals!!! Here's my Sand Dollar Scripture Re-Work and Ravengirl CASE
Miss Pie for Every Occasion and Baker Extraordinaire...trust YOU to bring National Chocolate Cake Day to our attention! Sales will soar today, thanks to you, my friend!!!
I know it's "national" but can the rest of the world celebrate too??? : )
Here's my Coffee and Cake
Wendy- this is for you- what a super challenge! I started this card with all these brown tones last night, hoping it would be suitable for today- all I added was the cupcake and some glitter glue! I get to visit my friend Carolyn and her mobility dog Barkley today- and it's in their honor, too. Here's Chocolate Cupcake for Wendy.

Wendy what a delicious challenge. I just got some new raspberry m&ms so I think I'll put some raspberry colors with my cake!

Wendy what a great challenge. My mouth is already watering... Here is my chocolate crumb cake card. The dark panel really is chocolate looking in real life not black. Really cloudy, dark day here so hard to get colors photographed right. F4A101 Love Remains by MariLynn - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my Basket of Heart Scones card in honor of Chocolate Cake Day! Unfortunately, I didn't have ANY chocolate yesterday for the holiday, phooey. Methinks I'll have to make up for that today, eh??
Wendy, here is my card! It is candy, not cake, but I think you will like it anyway.
It worked with several of the challenges!
Thank you for the challenge!
;)

I guess I should have named this Chocolate Spice Cake, but didn't think of it til now. Thanks for an inspiring challenge, Wendy. Here's my card and it's only a day late..... Thanks!
