Favorites for the Week Ending May 30, 2020
Hi, Amy here with this week's Favorites Thread. Hope everyone is healthy and enjoying some crafting time. It is hard to believe that it is already the end of May. I am not sure where the time went, because I don't have a clean house or a bunch of craft projects finished!
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, May 24 through Saturday, May 30. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.

You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
*That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site or prepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
*The card maker’s SCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
*It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
*And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.

Happy Sunday from down under and gosh it’s cool here...only 18 degrees and I have my winter woollies out lol.
What a wonderful surprise to find an email from Amy....thank you so much for the happy mail and thank you to all of the hostesses who give up their time voluntarily to assist in sending out happy mail, hosting challenges, etc. You ladies rock.
To my mate, Nancy, phew...you blow me away when you choose one of my creations. I’m always nervous when I post something I’ve made as I never think it’s quite right, good enough or too messy. I feel so humbled and very honoured when someone chooses one of my cards as their favourites, and more so when they are a Dirty Girl. Thank you so much im grinning from ear to ear. Ps...I’ve sent you a pm about a technique we can do together one day. I know you like mixed media as much as I do. Big hugs

Needless to say, a lot but not all my favourites for the week have been cards from the VSN challenges, there have been some truly inspiring creations and it never ceases to amaze me just what a talented and creative bunch we are. Don't forget that this was only the mini and the main challenge will be on the 26th and 27th June. I'm so sorry everyone but I don't seem to be able to post with out it being one jumbled list. I have tried to put the spacing in but nothing I do works. At first I copied and pasted my list from Note Pad...that didn't work and even my lead-in paragraphs were all jumbled together. I was able to sort that by deleting the card links but now no matter what I do I can't get the spacing between the links. If anyone has a solution to this problem could you please PM me. In the mean time I will publish my card links, colour and highlight the card makers name and hope you poor mods can sort it out. Having ALL kinds of trouble getting things to format correctly today. (to the notifiers - If a card doesn't format correctly here on this try, I will go ahead and notify it from my fav's . . . rather than waste any more time fiddling and possibly upsetting the ones that are working now. . .) Super Dooper Sunday news! wow, thanks Lisa aka Shoe Girl for honoring my Tea Bag Stamping card in this way. 'virtual hug' I loved making this card and as I am a tea addict I will have plenty of supply as I try to keep going on a series of these cards.
Your comments and others are so encouraging as I try to figure my style to doodle. I mostly copy others so far and surprisingly difficult for me to learn this artform of doodling. never allowed to write on a notebook cover in my high school formative doodling years, I am stunted in this process. hahahha
