Hi, it's Susie here starting this week's thread. Where did the year go...did you know there are only 49 sleeps until Christmas!!! On that scary thought, let's get started with the happiest thread in Splitcoaststamperville.
Unfortunately we are still experiencing technical difficulties. The auto link function is not working, so please make sure to check Post #2 for instructions.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, October 29 through Saturday, November 4. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Notifying this week are: Vicki (vdm), Sabrina (Cook22), Nancy (nwilliams6), Carlene (Chatterbox-1), Kia (Kiagc) and Susie (susie australia).
Here are some of my favourites from last week. I had to break my 'one card' rule because I couldn't possibly choose my favourite.
The auto-formatting of hyperlinks is still not working. If you post your Favorite cards here in the usual way, we'll be unable to tell who to notify, unless we open every single link .
Please help us out and follow one of the two options. We've done our best to make this as simple as possible. I've highlighted the new steps in red. 1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab.
2. Open a second browser tab (or a separate window). Go to your Gallery and click on "My Favorites" on the left sidebar.
3. Click on a card you have saved in your Favorites. At the top, highlight the web address (it starts with www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo ..... and so on). Copy the web address.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Scroll down to the Quick Reply box at the bottom of the Favorites thread. Type the card maker's SCS user name in the box, no need to type the card name. We'll find it as long as you type the user name and paste the web address of the card.
Option 1: Simply paste the card link behind it. It will look like this,
On your keyboard, hit Enter twice to add a blank line after each card linked.
5. Repeat steps #3 and #4 as many times as needed to enter all your Favorites links. 6. When you have finished entering your links, click the Go Advanced button. Proofread all your entries in the Preview window that opens. Make sure your card links all have a blank line between each entry and that the card links work as a link back to each card.
7. Any corrections needed are done in the Reply to Threadmessage box below the Preview area in this new window.
8. If you had to make any corrections, click the Preview Post button again and re-proof. Steps#6, #7, and #8 can be repeated as many times as needed.
9. When finalized, click the Submit Reply button.
Please help the Favorites Team by making sure:
1. That your links work correctly.
2. The card makers SCS name is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
3. Lastly, it really, really, helps if you have a blank line between each entry.
Thank you in advance for helping us make sure that no one is missed!
Each week we have newcomers to the Favorites threads. EVERYONE is invited to join in. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be.
If this is your first time being mentioned in this thread or you have a new blog we have blog badges found here in thispost.
Want to post a Thank You to the SCS member who nominated your card? Please do not use the Quote button at the bottom of the thread!! Instead, scroll down and type your response in the Quick Reply box. (Using the Quote button to reply causes the original messages to be repeated over and over. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.)
Pay It Forward(optional, but nice). When you say "thank you," you are encouraged to Pay It Forward by linking at least one of your own Favorites from last week. You may link as many of your Favorites you wish.
Okay, now you're ready to show us your Favorites!

Lots of gallery browsing this week to compensate for the next 4 weeks when I will be in "shoe-box land" and have very little time to do much else other than my teaching. This year we are back in the church in Wallington checking boxes for Operation Christmas Child starting Monday - hopefully lots of smiles on kids faces when they arrive.
One thing you do concentrate on when doing the links is user names - some interesting ones out there. I also kept messing up this morning so I hope everything works!

Wasn't Lisa's challenge on Thursday a fun one? It was lovely seeing all the inspiration cards as well as the inspired ones. Susie's card that inspired Jeannie is in my favourites already, now Jeannie's has joined it there.
Did you have to mention the "C" word, Susie! We were up in the North yesterday, and had a quick coffee. DH was casting covetous eyes on my salted caramel cappuccino and I said he'd told me he just wanted an Americano. He said he hadn't seen mine listed - because he refused to look at the Christmas specials, LOL. He saw the "C" word and moved quickly on.
Thanks, Susie for starting us with the happy thread this week, and all your team members. Thanks to Benzi and Janine for mentioning my card...warms my heart. Here is are some beauties that deserve a shout out.
A giant hug to Susie, Linda, Brenda, and Janine for faving my Santa Puppy card! It was my birthday this week so this is extra special icing on the cake!!!

I have two great notifiers this week! Thanks to Susie and Carlene for notifying me and thanks to Brenda (Benzi) and Sabrina (Cook22)for adding my cards to your list this week!
I didn't have much time in the gallery this week, but I'll go take a look and see if I fav'd any. There were lots of gorgeous cards, that's for sure!
Another interesting week at our house. My DH was home three days in the middle of the week so no stamping or gallery gazing during the week and then I thought I was going to have a stamping day on Saturday since my Daughter was with her drama class putting on a play for a competition but my sweet boy came home sick so off to the store I went to buy the makings of chicken soup. I never did get to the stamp room or the galleries! Here are a few I did get to see.

I was home very late last night and didn't get to prep my post as I usually do...and this morning I was rushing to get it done before the normal Sunday morning cooking and baking. So, I forgot to apologize for not having made it to last week's thread to post my sincerest thanks to my notifiers and all who mentioned one of my cards. My bad..
Many thanks, Brenda, Janine(x2), Anne and Nancy, for including cards of mine on your lists. I truly appreciate it. Thanks, Nancy, for giving of your time to let me know. Hugs, Sallie
I haven't been to Splitcoast Stampers for a few months. I only came back late this week, so my list is a little one. Thank you ladies for supporting this forum.
Many thanks Anne (jdmommy) for listing my Anyone Can Be Cool card in your weekly favorites!! What a wonderful way to start my day!! :-) Thanks also to Nancy (nwilliams6) for the notification!
Angie, hope the Chicken Soup worked! Gail so glad to see you after your break!

whoo hoo...I got another list to work without the computer goblins (that drink and party in my laptop) sending my list out into cyperspace never to be scene on SCS. Even better, it did not take 3 hours to do. Pretty good for someone with the technical ability of a salamander.I am always so impressed with all the talent on SCS..hereare some of my favs..

I crowed about my technical accomplishment too soon....I see that 3 of my links did not work and I don't know how to fix them. I guess the salamander has more technical ability than i do.
Thank you cook22 for letting me know my card made it into the favorites with all the great card makers and for susie for putting me there hugs to both of you!!!!!

It looks like you just need a space between the name and the https:
So maybe if you go back to it by edit, you could go there and just add a space?
Thanks so much Brenda (benzi) and Carolyn (snowmanqueen) for mentioning my Bed Rest card in your weekly favorites...I feel honored & blessed! Big hug of thanks to Nancy (nwilliams6) for giving me the great news!
