please forgive me, my pc skills are lacking, i am lost on how to give proper THANK YOU's to each person who recognized my Desert Friendship Garden post. Here is my group thanks to guneauxdesigns, susie australia, jay_bee, benzi, lv2grdn, nwilliams6. THANK YOU! and THANKS to COOK22 for letting me know that my project was being recognized. I am overwhelmed by your responses and kind words. I have received SCS newsletter for years, and followed the beautiful creations of others. this Desert Friendship Garden is my first gallery post on SCS, and i was nudged into it by a fellow crafter friend. I am glad i did, i feel the love today : ). hahaha i have Searched you 6 and am thrilled that crafters of your quality have seen fit to recognize my project. i made a long list of your posts to comment on, but sadly, i can't follow those instructions with my limited pc skills. there are always many gorgeous creations to be inspired by on your website and i am grateful to this website for years of inspiration for me. THANKS everyone who makes this a wonderful place to browse and be part of a community. aztk
It has been well over a year since I last posted, though I have been lurking and admiring. This past week I decided to post some of the cards I've made using the Faux Mother of Pearl technique. It is a fun technique, so I decided to add a little twist to it, using stencils from die cuts and such. It makes for such easy cards. Today I am here to thank the wonderful ladies that chose to look at and comment on the cards. And a huge surprise to me, a couple of the cards were even added to the Favorites thread. Whoohoo!
A big Thank you goes out to Carla (aka Covington Crafter), and Bev (aka gneauxdesigns). Ladies you have filled my heart with joy, with your comments and choosing to put some cards into the Favorites for the week.

What a very special day for me! I KNOW that I have NEVER had 4 different cards listed in the favorites for the week! A very special thanks to Anita (snietje), Jen (Miss Boo), and Tonda Baldwin for shining a spotlight on my work this week! Thanks you all who left such sweet comments on these cards. And Sabrina, I greatly appreciate the time and effort that it took to let me know! What a great place this is that we all congregate to learn and craft and share together!! Happy stamping!!
S letter ladies, your happy mail has been delivered! Sorry I didn't give a warning last night that I was going to bed. Daylight saving started this weekend and my body clock takes several days to catch up
I have been reading all the thank you messages here and lovely comments made to each other. I am very grateful to be part of this community. I smiled when I pictured Miss Tonda having her Sunday morning coffee and checking Favs of the Week.
I recommend everyone make a cuppa, put your feet up and check out Miss Boo's lists. Jen finds so many cards that many of us don't see. Thanks Miss Boo.
