What a beautiful day this has been, and made even more special for me by these wonderful artists, Peggy, Mary, and Robin, for adding me to their favorites. I would like to thank Priscilla aka Catluvr2 for listing my cards "Floral Art" and Desert Scene" in her favourites for this week... I so appreciate it to know that you like my work...You have certainly put a smile on my face today... I also want to thank Angie aka Ohmypaper for letting me know once again that my cards have been listed...
What a day we've had! Four families came together today to pray and ask for God's blessing over our grandson, Theodore Ezra John Lessard. It felt like a scene from the Lion King with everyone circled around, Theodore in the middle held by his Papa. Rev. John Schmidt from San Diego gave the dedication. We rejoiced, and gave thanks for this new life that is part of our immediate family and God's family. What a wonderful day we all had.
So, if it's alright I'm going to acknowledge those who have so graciously included my cards on their favorites list this week, and then I'll be back tomorrow morning with my list of favorites - deal?

I want to let you know that today after Theodore's dedication I was walking with him while he surveyed the park. Guess what was growing wild beneath our feet? Buttercups (she smiles) Does God give us a kiss on the nose or what?!

I have been away from Splitcoast for a short time. What a nice welcome back to see that several cards I have recently uploaded have been favored and added to this forum. What a Wonderful Happy Place Splitcoast is to while away the time.
So, I send out a Big Thank you to Peggy(jasonw1), for the warm welcome back and for favoring the I Love My Mom card. Mary (jandjccc), and Robin (Stamperrobin), both of you ladies also favored this card, Thank you! All of you have added in the joy of that cards creation and giving to my Mom. I don't have many in my favorites this past week. I have recently gotten back to my computer and Splitcoast after a necessary break in to much card making. Old injuries have been keeping me from the things I enjoy. Enough of this though.

Wow, this has been a fabulous day, not only did I get to spend time with family, but I have had 5 notifications of my cards being mentioned in the favorites thread. I am excited. Thank you, Irishgreensue, Stamper Robin and Pam MacKay for making my day really good.

Made my day, and as well Angie for the work you do in this site and all the others that make this all happen...:0), I havent had much peeks this week for favorites but were some lovely ones I quickly saw...this splitcoast is awesome friends and talent here..:0)

Aw Susie-you made my day! I loved making my banner card and it was great to see it listed here!
I've been having trouble with tennis elbow and the computer is not my friend right now so I've been forcing myself to stay off. Hopefully will get the pain under control and be able to do more gallery gazing and commenting soon, but for now thanks to all who contribute to this thread each week.

Dina inspires me for so many reasons. Her Spotlight Technique card is a wonderful example of the Sanded Pencil technique and I loved it!

And Susie, were you ever quick off the mark on the Wish Big. If I hadn't uploaded it last night as a sample, ready to post the challenge this morning, it wouldn't have been a Sunday upload ;-).
I feel a bit of a fraud that Angie, Pam and Sue favourited the card made with the Gorjuss girl decoupage kit- but it was enough of a challenge turning it into a card that I don't feel a total fraud, LOL.
Oh Susie, you just the sweetest. You fav my cards quite often and I so very much appreciate it. Thanks so much girlfriend And thanks too, to Mary T. for letting me know. My break is over and now it's back to spring cleaning :(
