Priscilla (catluvr2) your story of you getting rid of all your cat stuff and then going and getting a rescue really has me smiling. I am so glad your home is complete again. I love my kitties and can't ever imaging having a home without a kitty. If my DH would let me, I would have a house of shoes, crafts and kitties...but he has me on a limit of kitties no more animals in the house than people...if I can find a home for our geko I will be getting another kitty.

I spent most of my time this week umnounting stamps from wood blocks and putting them EZ Mount foam (sheesh, I had no idea I had that many stamps!), so my time in the galleries has been limited. But here is what I added to my list this week:

I haven�t been making cards, or browsing the galleries since Aug. 24th when we lost our kitty, Misty, to a brain tumor. She wasn�t even 10 yrs old and the suddenness of it made it more unbearable. We gave away all our cat �stuff� to the local no-kill cat shelter. We said we�d never go through this kind of pain again. A week and a half later we spent over $350 for new cat �stuff� and adopted a 6 yr old rescue kitty (spent 4 of her 6 years in shelters) � named her Ali. Our home seems complete again.
I am sorry to hear of your loss Priscilla - they are such an important part of our lives our 4 legged fur babies ... it has been 2 years and still I miss Sweet Pea every day. But, pleased you have welcomed Ali to your home.
I too have missed so much from the galleries in the last few weeks, getting caught up finally. My thoughts are with you.
