Good morning everyone, M,N,O and P happy mail has been dispatched. I have learnt a couple of things since we last spoke. Thanksgiving is one word, not two...turkey day is another name for Thanksgving and 15deg is shorts weather in Maine :o It is almost 9am Monday here, 16F- I am wearing a jumper, but it will be nice later as the forecast is for 87F.
Now it is my turn to say thank you and send big hugs to Linda (Holstein), WJ (wavejumper), Lisa (ShoeGirl)..you spoilt me with 3, Maura (beesmom) and Anne (jdmommy for your special mention). It sure is a great way to start the week.
Many thanks Vicki for all the happy mail. I am off to peg the washing out - back soon.

60 degrees F in Oregon is Birkie weather, too. And a jumper is a sleeveless dress worn over a shirt/blouse/top. I think jumper to you is sweater to us. English is such a polluted language!

OK Brenda, I know what Birkies are but I wonder if out of U.S. does!! I bet a jumper in Australia is at least of sweater...I was thinking of something funny like a one piece fuzzy pajama with feet!! Heehee! Could even have a hood with bunny ears...you know jumper...harhar, I know!

Robin - thank you for commenting, favouring and notifying me about my digger card! Brenda jumper in the UK is something with sleeves you wear to keep warm as in wooly jumper but call them sweaters too and we know what you are on about!

Loving the English translation lesson. Sweaters, birkies and jumpers. BTW - Cape Cod is not in Maine, it's Massachusetts. Maine is much colder - they've already had snow this year.
ROTFL...I know now that I am wearing a sweater and Birkies. Thank you all for adding to my education.
Miss Robin, my wonderful Cali mate, sista from anudder mudder seperated at birth...you spoilt me completely rotten and listed all 4 of my cards. Big squishy hugs. xx
Thank you Vicki for all the happy mail.

We call it soda in our neck of the woods. Visited Cape Cod this year, and what impressed me the most..how friendly the people were to us tourists. Priscilla, we have a small county in our state called Door County that reminded me of Cape Cod....same architecture, and it's surrounded by Lake Michigan and a bay.
I so agree with Susie "card making" is a universal language as is a smile.
Thank you, sweet Robin, for listing my card, Tree Dazzle, as one of your favorites. It is the only one I got to make this week and squeaked it in today.
Thanks to Linda (Holstein) for delivering happy news.

Cape Cod is surrounded by water, and usually 10 degrees warmer than the rest of Massachusetts because of the warmer ocean water coming up from the south - except for last year!!! We usually get rain when the rest of the state has snow - except for last year!!!
When I say tonic - that' what we referred to for all carbonated soft drinks.
