Favorites for the week ending 10th June 2018
Hi, Janine here starting this week's Favorites Thread - my first time so hoping I get it right!
Since joining Splitcoaststampers I have been fascinated by people's user names and when you focus on a particular letter or group of letters as part of the notification process you are drawn even more to the quirky and unusual names. Maybe we should have a make a card relating to your user name challenge and get everyone to explain their name!
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week, Sunday, June 3rd through Saturday, June 9th. Everyone is welcome to join in even if you only have one card to share -- check my next post for directions.

You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be. You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you.
Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
- That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site or prepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
- The card maker’s SCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
- It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
- And please DO NOT use the “Quote” button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the “Quote” button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.

There used to be a thread around with a title of something like “what does your screen name mean?” but I don’t recall having seen it for an age. Mine is a homage to the fabulous Angel of the North sculpture by Anthony Gormley. |
