Thanks so much, wavejumper, VickieY and Shoe Girl, for mentioning my card(s)! It's been so good to be back creating, and to get a bit of validation is pretty exciting! I have seen so many BEAUTIFUL creations in the HYCCT galleries, but haven't spent enough time there to comment, and I like to comment on cards that I favorite, so I need to commit some time to doing exactly that! I did add one card to my folder, though: HYCCT Bunch of Happy by Stamperrobin
I just loved the dimension and colors and sentiment, and may need to CASE this beauty!
Stacy you are so right about SCS, it sure is special and so are you!! Hopefully that lady who wasn't very nice, forgets to put the lid back on her favourite ink!!

But it feels like home to me because of all the lovely ladies that I have met so far such as Cheryl and Susie (susie australia). And THANK YOU! to everyone for making SCS a wonderful place to be with your warm welcoming, your comments and for the laughs. Susie, I think you know what I mean. Haha. Big GRIN.

Oh my, I quite literally did a happy dance when I received Vicki's announcement this morning. Thank you so much to Christina (MemoriesCrafter) for choosing my card, First Fall Leaves, and for Vicki for sending out the message. My thanks to all who send out these announcements each week--I know it is a lot of work, I hope it brings you pleasure to know of the joy you are bringing to each card-maker. I am thrilled, Christina, you have more than made my week!!! SO excited!!!
Here are the cards that touched my heart this week when I was on the gallery, I'm afraid I didn't have nearly as much time to look here as I would have liked, so I'm sure I've missed some wonderful cards.
My apologies for getting this in so late. A friend needed a ride and support to go to a hospital about an hour away to see her brother who had a cerebral hemorrhage (he is improving, please pray for Don), and then I needed to help a dear, elderly neighbor who has not been well. What we all do and love to do, what a pleasure to help our friends and other loved ones. Just that I didn't get to this until much later than expected.
Thank you so much to the wonderful team who send out the announcements of the favorites, you bring SO much joy with those, I was truly on cloud 9 to receive the announcement that my card had been chosen as a favorite this week. And thank you again to Christina, I was blown away by the gorgeous card you made for your sister-in-law! SOMEDAY I hope to be able to color as well as you do, and as well as so many do here on SCS. It is a thrill to be back making a few cards. Next step--to try some challenges!!!
