I had a very difficult last few days as a very good friend lost his battle with brain cancer and went home to be with the Lord. I had a card class on Saturday which was his memorial so made it later in the day to not cancel completely but it was very hard to go straight from his emotional memorial to teach so that wasn't a great idea!! Anyway, I didn't get a lot of time in the gallery or even to make my usual cards for the usual challenges. I hope you will forgive my list this week. (I'll do it after church).
I DO REALLY appreciate my friends here and for you ladies who honored me today by putting a card of mine in your favorites...you SO brightened my day!!

Due to a nasty cold, I didn�t have a lot of gallery gazing time this week. By the time I got home from work I was too tired. However, I did spot these wonderful cards. Plus, here is something that all the notifiers need to do (in all your free time..lol). Stand in front of the mirror, wrap your arms tightly around yourself, and squeeze. That is a big virtual hug from all of us at SCS who are so grateful that you find the time to send out these happy notifications.

First I want to thank you all for the heartfelt words so many of you have expressed today here at SCS both in this thread and in pm's to me about the loss of my dear fur baby. He lives on forever in my heart and I continue to see him in all his favorite places. They are our joy and our sorrow...these tiny fur babies with such HUGE personalities and the joy they bring helps us open our hearts to another. We have a tiny 6 month old kitten that allows us to laugh through our tears with her antics She is the first TRUE lap cat that we have ever had and her favorite place is to curl up on either one of us and go to sleep. She has the power to help us heal.

Now on to my thank you's!
