Oh my GOSH! I am just thrilled to have seven of my cards honored as Bests for 2018! I am so missing being part of the Favorites team to notify this year, but with the left hand surgery, which has now moved into a hard cast, it really puts me on the side lines. THANKS to all the rest of you wonderful ladies who are taking your time during this whole week to notify and build the Best of 2018 Pinterest board! My particular THANKS to Janine (JAY_BEE), who has been notifying me with delightful happy mail.

I am pretty bummed that I can't put a list together this year as I can only type one letter at a time with my right hand, while keeping the left fingers relaxed while the tendon they removed from my forearm "heals" into a new thumb "pad" where they removed the bone below the thumb, which was riddled with bone spurs and osteoarthritis. I have talked with three ladies who have had this surgery and they all report great success and relief of pain. I just have to be patient until the case comes off and the pin is removed and physical therapy can begin...so looking forward to that in about three weeks!!!

Jennifer!! Wow! First I just want to give you a hug and huge credit for checking to see if the cards were favorited before you added them to your list. That takes time. So VERY sweet of you to spread the love out! There are so many beautiful cards in the gallery! You are amazing! Second, Having the list in ABC order is so sweet and helpful.

I just spent an hour or more typing up my favorites list and because I had the window open from yesterday, I lost it all. I'm sorry, I can't do this. I have spent so much time figuring out what to choose and i'm very frustrated. I want you all to know that if I favorited your work at some time in the past year, you would be on that list, since I don't favorite tons. I was going to do one card per month, with the last three months having four, since there were so many wonderful Fall and Christmas cards. So please know that you are all my favorites.

Bummer. I feel your frustration, Jean. I've learned the hard way to copy and paste long posts into text pad before hitting submit, because occasionally my internet connection drops. It's so annoying to lose a post.
