Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending Saturday, August 1st, 2020
Hi all! Happy August everyone!! It was hot and sticky here today, but we had a beautiful day at Cedar Point yesterday. Welcome to the Clean and Simple Favorites Thread. What CAS creations did you find this week? Thanks to Karen for sending out the notifications!
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
-------------------------------- And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
--------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
If you have favorites that don't fit the Clean and Simple thread, we encourage you to share them on the regular Favorites thread.
If this is your first time being mentioned in this thread or you have a new blog we have blog badges found here in this post.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab. Type the cardmaker's SCS name, add a couple of spaces and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line.
5. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button. __________________

Linda (Holstein), thank you so much for listing my card, Nightfall, among your favorites. It was such a sweet thing to do. Thank you, Karen, for the notification.

Thank you Brenda and Linda for including me on your faves list this week. It is always an honor and so appreciated. You ladies gave me just the boost I need to head back to work tomorrow after 4 months of layoff. (Would much rather be stamping!). Thanks, too, to Karen for stopping by with all the happy news.
Thanks SO much, Susan and Diane, for mentioning my card on your lists. You started the week in a lovely way. Thank YOU, Karen, for taking the time from your busy day to let me know. Hugs, Sallie
for choosing my summer card as your favorite this week! You made my day.
I hope to make a list in a little bit. Even staying home so much I can't get to everything on my list. I blame it on all the extra people at home ALL the time!
Thanks Susan and Diane for including me on your lists this week. First day back to work after 4 month layoff - 17,000+ emails to go through to find the few that were important. Getting Karen’s happy news posts were just what I needed to end my work day.
Thanks so much, Michelle (mfb) for naming my Inspiring Iris Sponged Sympathy card as one of your favorites. And thanks for letting me know Karen (k dunbrook).
