I need a thesaurus too! Somehow I have to use the same five words to describe cards! I haven't had a chance to look at everyone's yet. Way behind on the challenges. I am enjoying it though!

I am on the same page! I am so inspired by color, that I find myself doing the same thing- commenting on the colors! I sound like a broken record as well.
I know a lot of crafters either love or hate glitter. So my challenge was a bit hard for some of you. Here's a good post that I saw about Corona Virus as it relates to glitter.

I enjoy FF so much and cannot thank everyone enough for bringing all this fun and joyful creativity to the forefront. I love the balance and blending of the art with the craft. I learned something new with every challenge and I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite. Hugging you all! Lori "Artzadoni"
VSN is Virtual Stamp Night (sometimes it can be Virtual Scrapbook Night). It's open to everyone and the themes are different every time. VSN is always a fun time!
is VSN a members only? I am unfamiliar with it. THanks
You don't have to be a Fan Club member to be a part of VSN. Here's the chat thread for the next VSN. The mini is coming up on Nov. 20. It will have 4 challenges & then the main will be a 2 day event: Dec 11 & 12.
It's truly fall weather here in NW Washington- colder temperatures and rain. Just a quick question - do we need to post a list of hyperlinks in a post to all our cards that we made? Hoping the use of the keyword for each of our cards is sufficient as it's busy in our house right now

You have until November 20, 2020 at 12:00 Noon Central Time to upload your cards, so sit tight until then. When all the entries are in, Lydia will post a new thread for you to add your complete lists. In the meantime, you can get your list ready by popping it into a spreadsheet for an easy copy-paste entry!
Should it be in one note, last time I used a spread sheet and uploaded it it did not work. Please advise.

Yes - it must be pasted from a plain text editor like notepad - please do not copy from a spreadsheet or Microsoft word - that will break the forum. Thanks!
Question Dina, since I struggle with anything computer and this is my first time to Falliday Fest, on Nov 20th WILL we have to upload a list of all the challenges we finished to another post? I am following snit bits of conversation.
Yay! Was able to finish all the challenges last night and got them all uploaded today. Thanks to all the hostesses - what fun challenges/tutorials this year!

Snit bits! If you completed all the challenges and tutorials, then yes - so we can verify that you qualify for prizes. Here is a link to a past thread so you can see what that will look like, though the rules do change a little every time! ;)
Well I have completed all the fun challenges. Just have to get pictures of my last 2 creations. I always learn so much on these challenges. Thanks to everyone involved.

;">Hi Lydia! Think I am running Windows 10- I copied the links from my Excel spreadsheet into a Word document, then copy/pasted into Notepad (rich text document). So thank you for the hint!

Well,,,have finished all the challenges and have last tutorial drying overnight to do final touches tomorrow.....
Nervous about the "don't copy from a spreadsheet or Microsoft Word" as in previous years that is what I did.....I don't know how to use any other type of "document file thingy" so guess I will have my kids help me do it correctly.
That said....I really enjoyed all the Challenges this year.....even the ones that exploded my brain because I had to use a different color pallette. The tutorials were fun and as usual I "saved" the one that requires the most time until today.....but I will finish it tomorrow. This providing childcare for "Hybrid" school age grands and regular day care for the pre-schoolers cut into my crafting time for Falliday Fest. However....I feel great for having finished all of them even though I only was able to create multiples for one tutorial.
Can't wait to hit the galleries and leave comments on all the fabulous work.
wonder what others found the "hardest" or a new technique/skill....for me it was the ink blending using black background....Four different tries hit the wastebasket before I was willing to say--this will do and finished making a card with it. The Gingerbread Garland was an adventure......as guess I don't own enough floral stamp sets to come up with fun house coverings.....that said....two of mine look more like bird houses but thats ok. Dini did it to me again with the gel medium and the dry brushing and so forth.....I looked like I fell into the jar of medium by the time I had my die cuts adhered to the base panel.....Heaven knows what will happen when I use REAL paint tomorrow....
It has been fun. And I so appreciate all the behind the scenes work that had to happen in order for us to have this fun....

Card Sketch Challenge 1-227 done only 396+ to go to be caught up!!!!!
Falliday Fest gave a great boost to my mojo for Christmas cards! I really appreciate all the effort the hostesses and administrative folk who make this happen put in. I tried some new things with varying degrees of success but always with enjoyment. So THANK YOU!
Just spent best part of 2 hours verifying that all my uploads appeared in My Gallery, the specific Challenge gallery, and the Falliday Fest Gallery. Found some double posts and of course if you delete one, both go so that required reposting. Found some bumblefinger typos so fixed those as well. Now my question is: The tutorials --Technique Spotlight, Holiday Blitz gallery, name of specific tutorial.....is there not supposed to be a reference to Falliday Fest???? could it be used as a keyword????

I am cutting it SOOO close. I have 2 projects to finish, then photo and upload all. I hope I can make it. I need to make a run to the store tomorrow for supplies for the last tutorial.

Some of us “cheated” on that last tutorial and just used what we had. I used little boxes of Milk Duds cause I didn’t have nuggets and don’t need more chocolate in the house; others wrapped whatever they used with paper - guessing cause they didn’t have labels; some cut up socks or old t-shirts cause they didn’t have the gloves. Unless you need to go to the store for other stuff, you might consider saving the time by skipping the errand. Good luck finishing everything!
Just finished all my projects yesterday. They were all fun and I am always learning something. Thanks to all involved in FF. I appreciate all that is put in to making this so fun.
I finished yesterday, had a blast, am a little burned out, hope I can handle the mini VSN. Thank goodness we can combine with other SCS challenges, otherwise, no way. Thanks to all who worked so hard to create this fun we've had.

We have a fabulous Falliday Fest Gallery And Holiday Blitz gallery, too. I am trying to look a and comment on everything, but haven’t done as well as I wanted.
Pansy, they are two different galleries. Fest and Blitz.
I have one more challenge to do and one more day, then onto the mini VSN! My goodness...where else can you find so many challenges and so much inspiration! Yay for SCS! Thanks to all the hostesses and behind the scene personnel! Hugs to Lydia and Dina for another great Falliday Fest!

I'm having a nightmare getting the yeti post together. In the past I've been able to set up a trial in a message to myself and test the links. When I do that now, I keep getting a message that my message has too many characters. Then I managed to test from the FF gallery but the images came out so tiny.
I never know whether to do it from my own gallery or from the challenge gallery. Are you supposed to select copy link, or copy link location? I made careful notes after DTGD, but they are not working today. Thanks for any advice.
