Feeling lucky...so far I have almost everything on the shopping list.....but that didn't keep me from adding to my teal and silver collections on a fast trip through HL.

Card Sketch Challenge 1-227 done only 396+ to go to be caught up!!!!!
Drats! I don't have everything on the List... and since I've not been in any store in 8 months and will not be going to any yet (thanks to our ever-increasing COVID numbers where I live), I'll just have to wing it and find adaptations for the things I don't have.
It's all good. I'm sure I'll figure something out.

What are you missing? Maybe I can help you troubleshoot.
The challenges will be posted in this section of the forum! Each challenge and tutorial will have a specific keyword that you'll add to your post when you share your cards in the gallery. At the end of the event, if you've completed all the challenges and tutorials there will be an opportunity for prizes.
Since you mentioned glitter paper, I’ll ask the question that’s been bouncing around in my head - do pieces of glitter fall off the glitter paper? I hate loose glitter cause it ends up everywhere.

It depends on what glitter paper you buy. Most of my stampin up glimmer paper has almost no glitter that comes off. The cheaper brands have more that comes off
Dina, glad that your op went well. That was a biggie. Thanks for all that you and Lydia and others do behind the scenes and for all of the tips. It’s so much appreciated. Hugs

I don't have any glitter - I got rid of all that I had a couple of years ago (I hate the mess it makes).
I also don't have a glue stick/spray adhesive/Zyron.
I'm not sure what I have in the Teal/Silver sparkly - but surely I have something.
See, I'm pathetic. I need to broaden my stash (but not now - since the pandemic keeps me home).
Surely I can adapt. I'll not worry about it... yet. ;)
For my challenge you don't necessarily have to use glitter. I just wanted to see some sparkle on the cards. Do you have sequins or gems? Stickles glitter could also work as accents on a card.
No worries, use what you have. The glitter doesn't really show up in the photos of cards any way. Who would know? wink wink

I love FF, too and will spend a good part of today clearing the stacks and piles out of the way, swapping my Halloween stash for winter/holiday themes. Looking forward to lots of fun with everyone. Thanks for all the planning and prepwork.
I just saw it’s started..how did I miss that? Time to hit the craft room and make a plan.

Yes! We'll be posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week and next week. There will be a new tutorial on each of those days. Today there are 3 challenges posted by the SCS team - on the other days there will be 2 challenges. There are uploading instructions in each challenge and tutorial post - tutorials are uploaded to a different place from the challenges so take note of that when you go to copy the keywords!
I've been reading through the Falliday threads and the archives to understand what this is, and how it works. However, I'm wondering if there is a one post that explains it all in one thread? I get that we are making holiday projects, but does that also include any Fall design, or will it be specific, according to the challenge?
Is there a sign up page if you want to join in the challenges, or do we just upload our project to the appropriate challenge gallery?
Sorry to be so clueless, but ya gotta start somewhere, right?!!
I've been busy the last couple of years so haven't taken part for a while, but unless specifically stated in the challenge, you can normally work whatever cards you need into them, Thanksgiving, Christmas...The idea is to let you get ahead with what you need ;-).
You don't need to sign up anywhere unless you complete all the requirements for Yeti status - normally all the vests and X amount of the tutorials.
Upload instructions are in each challenge. For the tutorials, it's to the relevant gallery for each one, in the Holiday Blitz section of Technique Spotlight.
For the other challenges, there is a specific Falliday Fest 2020 gallery.

We want these challenges to help YOU stock up YOUR card and gift stash for the holidays. If you need Christmas cards, make Christmas cards. If you need Fall or Thanksgiving cards make those. If you don't send holiday cards, then just be inspired and stock up on what you need. Some challenges may be season/holiday specific.
In the past our fall event has involved a card drive and we wanted to encourage people to make and donate as many cards as possible, and that's why challenges were not combined. I love combining challenges, and I do that - they just are fun to stack. IF you are wanting to qualify for full YETI status (or whatever we're calling it this year) by completing all 13 challenges and all 6 tutorials, a card that is keyworded with multiple challenges can only be listed once on your link list entry. And yes, please feel free to combine another weekly challenge if it works out for you!
Each challenge and tutorial thread will have instructions for uploading. Each challenge and tutorial has a unique keyword, and that is how they can/will be grouped and found together.
