Challenge Title: Making Spirits Bright Hostess: dini aka Dina Kowal Keyword: FF20dini Date: 11/2/2020
Winter is cold, but there are so many images of light associated with the holidays - they warm our hands and hearts and give us hope of better days to come.
For my challenge today, create a holiday card depicting some source of light - the sun, a star, the Northern Lights, Christmas lights, a menorah, fireplace, lantern, light bulb, or candles.

Super challenge Dina. I had a ton of nativity die cuts I wanted to get used from my tote and get a few more Christmas cards made and found that I had some already punched stars that were perfect for the nativities.
Well - here it is my first EVER card for a Falliday Fest! Happy to get some play time this year though I'm still a bit concerned that work will get in the way . . .lol
I had fun with this challenge- I made this card inspired by our trips to San Francisco - Union Square- at Christmas for dinner and a nightime viewing of the lights from my growing up years. Created my starry sky by swiping a white craft inkpad against an embossed black panel- and adding many sparkly gems for both the sky and my row of Christmas trees. Added an oversized skyline silhouette, and a huge sparkly full moon. Here's Starry Skyline at Christmas

I had a couple fails with a stamp I was trying to use for this, and ultimately ended up just using scraps of patterned paper to make candles. Thanks for looking!
