Challenge Title: Tutorial Tango Hostess: dini (Dina K) Keyword: FF17diniA Date: Sunday, October 8th
Welcome to Falliday Fest! We're so excited about this opportunity to have fun together, share cards, and get ahead on our projects for the holiday season! We are so glad you're here. One of my roles here at Splitcoast is coordinating the amazing authors who share tutorials with you every week. We have over 600 tutorials in our resources section that are free to explore, expand and share. It's pretty amazing! Some of them are like cute little historical archives, from a hundred years ago when we used the Coluzzle or actual scissors to cut out circles. Some of them are edgy and modern. There are cards, boxes, altered projects, mixed media techniques, backgrounds, gift ideas, packaging - it's a remarkable list.
Sooo.... since Lydia got you drunk in her challenge, I'm taking you dancing. It's only right. It's time for a Tutorial Tango!
For my challenge, choose a tutorial that starts with the first letter of your first name, and make a project. They're all there, unless your name begins with X... and if that's you, please choose a tutorial that starts with a number (X is a number, right?). I think the list in the Technique Spotlight Gallery is the easiest one to search through, so for that list click HERE. Remember, you can click into the Holiday Blitz gallery for more options. For a full tutorial list, click HERE. Be sure to mention or link up the tutorial you use in your gallery post so that others can be inspired!

So happy to play in this challenge Dina and do a technique I had not tried. I was able to get a temporary program to do the technique as I did not own a program to do this one. Thankfully I printed a couple extra images as the program will not let me use it any longer. But I might need to get the program as it was fun to combine images for my card:
Dini- such a great challenge! I went with the Joy Fold Card Tutorial since my name begins with "J"- did a Halloween themed card- here's outside and inside views.

So I picked one I cannot remember trying before, I probably went with too many flicks but, I started adding some shading and then it just had to go (everywhere)
Having such fun trying new techniques today. With my name starting with *S* I had tons of choices ... I went with Stamping with Gelatos since I had never tried it ... and I couldn't remember the last time I had used my Gelatos.
I went to the "S" in the tutorial section and found the shimmery resist. I love to smear, so I did. Unfortunately, it just doesn't show up in my picture, but it definitely shimmers.
Here is my card for this challenge. I went with the Embossing Resist tutorial. (I was actually looking for a tutorial that started with the word EASY... I am surprised there wasn't one.)
I chose Joy Fold for my first name - Joyce.
I had forgotten I had made one of these special fold cards until I went through the gallery and spotted it from 2015.
This really is a fun style to make. I made a birthday card and kept it quick and flat for mailing. FF17diniA Birthday Bear by AnniePanda - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Oh this was fun! I appreciate being sent to look through the tutorials. Their is so much knowledge there I havent gained yet. Heres a new one I tried with my letter A. Launched a decision on what to give my best friend for Christmas!, too!
Sigh. Someday I'll figure out how to edit my photos...or maybe just buy better software?!

I had two choices... (my name starts with a J so actually I was surprised I had two choices) - Joy Fold Card and Joseph's Coat. I went with Joseph's Coat since I'd never done that before. Now I realize I could have easily made this a Joy Fold Card too. Oh well.
I am caught up to here with comments - you GUYS, this has been the most fun challenge ever for me - I love seeing you dig back and try new and old things! Can we just do this every time?!
