I had plans to get some final things for Thanksgiving dinner this afternoon. Instead I got to go to Urgent Care with my DD who accidentally cut her thumb with a knife. Now she has three stitches in it. That was a fun afternoon!

Oh my! Talk about plans going crazy on you! I did that once 15 minutes before people were expected for an open house at our place...stitches instead of party are no fun! I did make it back in time to call everyone back to come eat all the food, but I didn't really enjoy things too much.
Sorry I haven't been around to play trivia, my DH was hospitalized yesterday with Atrial fibrillation and a leaky heart valve. Spending 10/12 hours a day with him at the hospital.

Patty, So sorry to hear about your husband. I know, somewhat, what you are going through. My husband had Tachycardia about a year ago and had to have a defibrillator put in. He had already had his aortic valve replaced and now his mitral valve is leaking. But they can do so much now with this. So hang in there. I'll keep you both in my prayers.

I have been gone for a few days and just got back home. Thought I would check on the prize winners. See that we have had a few of the drawings so far. Congrats to all the winners! I have been fortunate to win something three out of the four previous years that I have played. So keeping my fingers crossed this year.
Thanks to all the wonderful sponsors! They are so generous and it is so much fun to see all the winners!

Oh my, I am doing a happy dance here!!! Thank You so much!
Congrats to the other winners as well. I do not have any Taylored Expressions, so really look forward to creating with them! Such a generous prize too!
I care for my mother at home, and had to run her to the doc today- there is an orchestra playing in her chest- LOL No stethoscope needed to hear it either! Doc checked a chest Xray- no pneumonia. She is on a whopping dose of steroids and an antibiotic. Last year, on Thanksgiving eve, she went into the hospital in fluid overload aka heart failure. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we are not going to have a repeat!

Life is interesting, life is a challenge, and life is fun...
Much happening in reality living, favorite cousin is back visiting so all flat surfaces have sewing projects in some stage on them, good food is cooked and eaten daily, and my stamp room has 3 beautiful boxes for my dies to be put in them and I have not even put one set in yet!
That must change today!
Well, after I take my favorite cousin to J's Pre-Black Friday sale once it is light enough for me to drive and before I take her to the chiropractor in the opposite direction this afternoon.
Congrats to all the winners, I need to look at post #1 to see who has won what...

It’s good to see more happy winners! Some wonderful days ahead for crafting. So sad and scary for the medical issues some of you are experiencing. I’ll keep all of you and your loved ones prayerfully close.
This year is a different Thanksgiving, being at my granddaughter’s home. She is preparing for 3 of her husband’s brothers and mother so there is plenty of cooking to do. She wants to do it all so the OCD/control freak in her doesn’t relinquish those chores easily. But at least the littlest has become “besties” with me now.

Keeping all with health/family issues in my thoughts.
A Falliday Fest report: Had to purchase alcohol inks for the event. Learned to do the background thingy on yupo paper---enjoyed it--but boxed it up to SAVE for another event/time/whatever. Somehow, in the process of looking up a simple home repair on You tube---there were some "how to use alcohol inks to--------" videos listed. Being a curious type of person I clicked on one. Today there are 7---count em---7 tins with "Polished Stone" techniques using alcohol ink awaiting their sealer coat. My basement family room is very decorative just now. Also 4 sets of ceramic tile coasters awaiting sealer coats and cork bottoms. AND somehow I found myself in the local carpet/paint/homeimprovement/ store buying 24 more tiles from the broken lot warehouse department. LOOK WHAT YOU DID LYDIA!

Congratulations to the latest prize winners! And ummm, no, I have not hugged a turkey today. I could go outside and try to find some outdoors walking around...but think I'd have a hard time catching them! lol
It's nice traveling with adult kids! I'm taking a break from the driving. Three hours to go and we'll be at my brother's. My daughter's Mother in law joins the ranks of the seriously ill. She's in ICU with a large fluid mass on her ovary.
Happy Gobble Google Day too all!! No turkey here either unless like Jeanette we include our DHs lol oh and all of you gorgeous turkeys here!! Hehe love ya all have a good one!! And congratulations to all the newest winners!!
