Challenge Title: Not everything is what it seems..... Hostess: Ashjoy (Joyce) Keyword:FF16ashjoy Date: 10/19/2016
Hello everyone! Happy Falliday Fun! I hope you are having a fun time creating some awesome projects this year! I know those that will receive them will love them and appreciate them so much.
My challenge is very easy, you have more then enough supplies and get to use whatever you want! Just pull out a stamp set that hasn't seen ink in a while, or yet (you know you have them!) and make a card. The twist is it has to be a card that is different from the original intent of the stamp set. Ideas: Use a Christmas set for a Birthday card Use a Mother's Day set for a masculine card Use a spring set for a holiday card.
You've got the idea, go forth and get inky!
Hugs, Joyce

Joyce- what an awesome 2 challenges in 1! I used a PSX stamp of pansies, embossed and colored that hasn't seen much stamping use lately- added some fall dc leaves, a pumpkin, and orange dotted washi tape, along with orange floral dp for my background. There's a striped orange chocolate bar wrapper in the upper left corner behind my pumpkin, and I added a tag sentiment for fun. Here's FF16ashjoy happy fall flowers

Decided to make a floral foreground for my Halloween character- added a seasonal pumpkin- and a hand written sentiment. Here's FF16ashjoy Halloween Greeting

Used a valentine stamp to make a wedding card (not much of a stretch but it was the best I could do!) I did use a stamp set that had never seen ink, some bling I've been holding on to forever, and a technique I haven't used in a long time. So fun!
Here is mine, and what makes this not what you first expect is when you see the reindeer you think oh how cute... before you see he stole a hat and the words....
I found myself thinking over this challenge more than any other simply because its purpose is to put you outside the box. Finally just made myself dive in and see what developed and this is what I came up with. Love that designer paper I found at Hobby Lobby!
