I also made this card this week for DTGD 2018 and wanted to put it here too as I haven't been faithful at posting cards to my gallery that I've been making with scripture.
I was sure there was another place I was following for making scripture cards, thanks for bumping the thread Julie!
Yesterday I posted on the Crafter's of Faith thread, I am enjoying making more cards with scripture but they often sit in a box because the cards I donate to the local hospital infusion bay are birthday, wedding, anniversary, get well, thinking of you type cards.
What do you do with your scripture cards?

I send them as encouragement cards to people I know who are are elderly or who are ill. For example, I have these ladies who are two elderly sisters. I used to visit them frequently before moving too far away. So now I try to mail them thinking of you or praying for you cards every so often. I sometimes put a verse on outside for the teapot card challenge, too,
Today, I am sending couple to two different family members (cousins) , one who takes care of her invalid sister, ansother who has terminal cancer. They both could use some encouragement. If you dont have a use for them, I am sure a church ladies group could use them to send to people in the church who need encouragement.
Hope this helps.
I made this card for Crafters of Faith challenge, I put it in the general gallery and realized I should have included the code for this thread also but have gone back and fixed that!
It has been a great delight for me to host this challenge since 2010. I am sad to say that with other ministries that have come up in the last year and a half, I have not been faithful to contributing to the Challenge, so I will not continue hosting it in 2019.
However, I do think this is a wonderful challenge. All of you gals who are part of it are such a blessing to me and one another. So I have asked Julie Gearinger, our faithful contributor, to take over hosting this Bible Verse Challenge, and she said a resounding YES! Thank you, so very much, Julie.
Julie will start a new thread for 2019 and post the link here. I still plan to be a part of the thread, so I look forward to seeing all of you and your monthly verses/projects in 2019.
If you want to create a card per month and memorize, wonderful! That was the original purpose of this challenge. But, I know that I create more than one per month, so we would love for you to share any cards/projects that have Scripture.
I have noted the slight changes in the description in the first post. I do not want anyone to not participate because they struggle with memorization...not that any of you do, but possibly others may. God's Word never returns void and I would love to see more of it on our cards and projects.
Hugs to all of you and I hope you have a blessed New Years Eve and New Year!!
