I don't mean to be hijacking your thread but I'm having difficult finding people for my Scripture/Christian card swap and though maybe someone here would be interested. You can find out more by selecting the link in my signature line. Forgive me for intruding and have a blessed day.
Here's my card for February 09. It's similar to the card I made for the Scripture Challenge - same stamp set but different verse -- both speak of kindness. Enjoy the Lord today!
Hi ladies! I really like using Bible verses on cards. Though I don't have any stamp with bible verse, I make use of the computer to create my sentiment.
I found these unmounted sheets on clearance at Biblical Impressions. With $3 flat shipping, it's a great deal! Between all three sheets I think I got 90 verses, which came out to be about 50 cents apiece. They're just plain rubber, no cushion or anything, but I just used a piece of double-sided tape to stick one to an acrylic block. If you don't have acrylic blocks, you could use the bottom of a glass, the sticker side of a wood block, etc. HTH!
WOW... that is a great deal! Thank you for sharing that link! And remember you can always print a scripture on your computer. That is what I did this month as I wanted a verse on LOVE for February! ♥
Here is my February submission...I had to use red & pink because of Valentine's Day. I am so loving the Divine Design...thank you everyone for inspiring me. Hebrew 4:16 by scrapmomma at Splitcoaststampers
here is my February submission - I wanted something to do with love and the first thing that came to mind was when I was little and did the whole daisy thing. You know, "He loves me, He loves me not" I still don't have any biblical stamps or verses so everything is done with the computer and my cricut. BVC09 1John 4:10-11 by nvthiele at Splitcoaststampers Thanks for looking! Oh, and thanks for inspiring me to take on this challenge and share my work!

I had a chance to stamp this weekend-Yippeee!
Here are a few cards that I did for this challenge. Some of them I combined with the sketch or color challenges.
I am so excited to get started with this Challenge. I followed this thread last year and finally decided to get started. I want to create 6" x 6" pages each month with a different Promise from the Bible. I actually am planning on creating 2 identical pages each month so by December I will have 2 books of God's Promises (some of them - there are so many).
Here is my January Page. I will be posting my February page soon.
Here is my February card, I need to get the wooden hanger for these 6 x 6 pages! If anyone has a source where I don't have to order a minimum of 5 - PM me Let It Rise by artsylori at Splitcoaststampers
Well, I'm running behind as usual but, I am determined to take this challenge this year. Here is my January page. I decided to use my "go to" scripture. If you get a chance to view it, the details will explain what I mean by that.
So, I am woefully behind on this. Actually, I haven't even started, lol. I do want to participate, though. It's not too late, is it? I've got some time off that I am hoping to use to get caught up.
Here is my very first scrapbook page ever and my very first upload to the His Holy Name challenge. I choose to focus on how Holy is one of God's names as well as a characteristic.
Since it has many Bible verses on it, I am posting it here too.
I came across this challenge a little late, but I really wanted to be a part of it. My January submission is one I made awhile ago, but would work for this challenge.
The only reason I was determined to stamp today was because I wanted to partcipate in this challenge! The verse I chose this month has been a favorite since jr. high. A family I babysat for gave me a framed version of it when they moved away. I was so excited when I saw that Verve was selling it as one of their PLain Jane stamps! I love how their stamps use multiple fonts.
Oh, I'm so excited. I wanted to do this last year and just got distracted. I'm just now seeing it's starting up again and I'm thrilled. Definitely want to commit this time. Will get working now to catch up. Can't wait to browse through and see everyone's projects! Thanks to those who are leading it.
A little bit late, but I think I'm going to jump in on this monthly challenge, too! I made something yesterday with a Scripture I need to keep remembering and it got me thinking about this challenge. I'm going to hope to get January and February done this coming weekend so I'm caught up in time for March!
