Default Printing Digis on Watercolor Paper

I want to print some of the flower images I have bought on watercolor paper. Does anyone know about using regular tablet paper in an inkjet printer?

I am not sure about watercolor paper, but I print cs - as long as it fits the tray. I think my printer has some options for different paper types also.

What I did want to mention is that I have found it difficult to use water color pencils (with an aqua pen, for example) with printer ink as it will bleed and smear. I have better luck with prisma colors and pastel chalk pencils.

What experience have others had?

I have a watercolour block that I can take off a sheet and feed through the printer. It's quite light, though - 95lb, 200g/m2, much lighter than I normally use. I cut it down to standard paper size, as the only block I could fine was 9.5 x 12".
I'd agree with what Dorothy says about the ink smudging, but I can't for the life of me work out why mine sometimes does and sometimes doesn't.
I've been able to use H2Os successfully on images printed on watercolour paper after either heat-setting it or spraying with fixative.
I know our last printer did have waterproof black, but our current one certainly doesn't.
But as sometimes I have been equally unsuccessful when I think I've gone through exactly the same printing process, I am not a convert to digital images unless I really, really want to use one.

I use watercolor paper as well, and because of the heavy weight have to sometimes give it a bit of a nudge to get started. I love the look and texture though!

I'm actually going to try the heat-setting method. In the past I've just been very careful as I reach the edges.

I have a laser printer which sets the ink so I don't think I'd have an issue with watercoloring BUT I haven't been brave enough to try to send something that thick and heavy through my printer!

I've printed on watercolour paper and then used a workable fixative so that my ink wouldn't smear. I got my fixative at Michaels, but any art supply store will also carry it.
