Smile downloabable sentiments

I am so new to this stampin, but I love it! does anyone know what to do with the sentiments after you download them? I believe you have to shrink them down and print, but then would I just cut them out of the copy paper and attach them to the card I am working on? Please help!

I see this is your first post-welcome. So, not sure what downloadable sentiments your are referring to or what program your are using. I've used stampin' ups! My Digital Studio and printed directly to the cardstock I was making the card out of. See my gallery and or blog. My last posts were hybrid cards with the inside being printed. Don't know if this helps.

Hi and welcome from New Zealand! Glad you are having fun with stamping. I don't download sentiments but use sentiments on stamps instead. These I stamp directly onto the card (holding my breath!) or onto another piece of card which I cut and attach to the card.

Hi!
I have purchased digital stamps and saved them in My Pictures. Then I open them up in my Microsoft Office Picture Manager and printed them on my cardstock. Then, I have cut them out with my Nestabilities and used them on my cards. Their is a forum about Digital Stamping that may answer your question better. I myself have posted very little here although I have been a member for a long time...hope this answer helps a little!! :-)

Thanks to everyone who replied! I am referring to the sentiments that I have seen on the last page of some paper craft magazines. They advise to go to the website and download the sentiments that you have seen throughout the issue. It's as though they make them available to use for special occasions (i.e. wedding, graduation, etc...) I just am unsure of how to print/use them. I guess I wouldn't find many other people who have seen these pages in magazines and wanted to use them.

I've downloaded the images from the magazines and from Free digital stamps - save them on my computer under my pictures - I have a file for my sentiment downloads. (All divided into categories; i.e. birthday, sentiments, florals). When ready to use attach the jpg (usually the images are formatted this way) to either a blank piece of paper/card stock to mat/cut/ etc. or print directly on the paper/cardstock where I need it. Hope this helps....
