Default the best digi printer

Ok am looking to get a new printer and wondering what everyone .. anyone.. uses to print their digi's on. With the holiday season there are some great deals on wireless ones, but, not sure which would be best for printing. I have at the moment a dell all in one, but, not wireless.. I'm looking to upgrade of sorts..

Thanks

I just have a Kodak ESP Office 6150 (wireless) and it does a great job printing digis. I bought this printer because the ink doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I've had no problem feeding Cryogen (100#) or GinaK paper into it, never a paper jam. It's an inkjet printer and I've never had a problem with smearing of the lines, and I can color right away and without heat setting the image. It was also super easy to set up the printer, which is a big plus for me.

Happy shopping!

I have a Canon MP560 (wireless) that works great for printing out my digis. The inks aren't all that expensive, but I switched to a continuous ink supply system and its cut my ink costs by 80%. I haven't had any problems with smearing when using either my copics or pencil crayons and oms. It has two paper feed paths - one from the bottom cassette and one feed from the back. I haven't had any problems printing on 200lb cardstock from the rear feed tray. I've had it for about 1.5 years and haven't had any issues with it.

Can you tell me about the continuous ink supply system? I have a Canon MX870 and go through ink like crazy. It's costing me a fortune!

Thanks, Karen

I bought mine from a seller on ebay about a year ago. I bought the cartridge system and refill bottles of inks all for about $80. I estimate I should have enough ink to last me for another 3 years. By then, I'll probably need(want) another printer. I'm sure if you google "continuous ink supply" or "CIS" you'll find the right one for your model printer.

I don't do digital images, but I know many people would recommend a laser printer for this purpose. A black and white laser is on our wish-list - a colour one is beyond our means.
