Default ? about SU's stamp brush images

I want to purchase this image from SU. My consultant says that I have to purchase the My Digital Studio in order to use the image but I have found different sites that say I don't need it. Can I just purchase/download and use the image like I do other digital stamps? (I just insert the image into a Word document and then print on cardstock.) Also will I have any trouble resizing the images without losing quality?

I can't speak for that specific image, but I CAN tell you that I bought A digital CD from SU and use the images by inserting them into Word and I do not have MDS.

SU digital stamp images are either jpg or png so you can use them in any program that you can bring those types of files into - like Word. You shouldn't have any problem resizing as long as the original image is high enough resolution. I'm pretty sure SU uses the standard 300 dpi (I have some of their images but haven't used them so I'm not 100% certain of their quality).

They can be resized and still keep clarity. I enlarged one to use on wedding invitations. I think I doubled its size and it was still good, but I would imagine it would depend on the image too.
