The progressive challenge is a chance to build your page step-by-step following the instructions (tweaks are fine). Each week you're given more instructions to build on the previous and by the end of the month, you have a completed page. Anyone is welcome to participate, and there's no deadline - feel free to join in whenever you have time.[/FONT]
I almost forgot to post todays task! Today Im hitting the thrift stores to find stuff to make our Halloween costumes for a dance were going to Saturday. Wish me luck!
Here are the instructions for Task 2 for October. Hope you enjoy!
TASK 2
This week well add our photos.
1. Place your main, largest photo, centered from top to bottom, but placing it to the right of the page, about 1 in from edge.
2. Place the photo in a shape. (I used a rough-edged rectangular shaped mask.)
3. Add the same shape in a layer beneath the photo. Enlarge it slightly, so the edges show under the photo, highlighting the photo edges. Fill the shape with whatever color you wish and play with the opacity to give it a less-pronounced look.
4. About an inch in from the left edge of the page, add your smaller photos in a vertical column, overlapping the main photo. (You can line them up straight or tip them, but please keep in a vertical column.) Add frames, if desired.
5. Be sure to add shadows. And thats it for this week!
The keyword for this month is DGPROG15Oct. Please upload to the gallery and also post a link here!
