Our First Digi Scrappin Challenge!!!! Woohoo!!!!
I will always try to ensure that the challenges can be done by anyone with a photo-editing program even if youve never used it before! Come on and try a digital challenge. You may be surprised at what you can do!
Remember, challenges are meant to be a starting point. Feel free to adapt the challenges for the pictures that you are scrapping! There is no time limit for these challenges, so use them at your leisure!
DGC01: Make a page with a photo as your background. Reduce the opacity on the photo (make sure there is a white matte behind the picture that is the exact size of the picture, or the background will affect the colours in the photo). You can leave the photo as the main element on the page, or you can build a page in front of that photo. Here are some examples:
This week is Breast Cancer week, so there is an added challenge to include pink somewhere on your page! It can be a font colour, a matte, or you can even alter the colour of your page to have a tint of pink like this one
If you play along, please share your hard work with us and upload to your gallery! Make sure you add DGC01 to your keywords (additional keywords are OK, just separate them with commas), and PLEASE post a link here in this thread; we would NOT want to miss it! Also, if you aren't a FAN CLUB member, please observe the NO UPLOAD on SUNDAY rule!
You can find all submissions for this challenge here: DGC01
Sounds fun, but I'm way too computer challenged to try a digital page...that and the fact that I can't afford the ink for my printer! And it never prints nice pics anyway. Sorry. But I hope all you digital/computer whiz's have a great time! I'm think its a great idea because scrapbooking seems to be going more and more this way.
This is so VERY cool! This will be exciting to see new challenges each week. Can't wait to try this one out tonight. I think I have *just* the photo in mind, too!
Wow, I love challenges and have just discovered this digital stuff, I can't wait to try this out....its a real challenging one, but I think I know what I want to do.
Thanks for this.
Tracy

I am soooo excited about these challenges. I'll have to do it tomorrow night but I'm just getting started with digiscrapping and this a great way to get me going. I just keep buying the packages and not scrapping anything...THANKS!!
I can't wait to play too. I'm new to digiscrapping and these challenges will help me get motivated, creative and also help me learn the software program. Hope to post my challenge page by the weekend.
