AUGUST 2015 Progressive Challenge - Task 3 (08-18-15)
Here we are, already into the third week of August! It's been a fun, but busy month for me, as I'm sure it's been for everyone else too!
I have fun plans for this afternoon too. I'll be heading to my mom's (she's 95) to make some cards. She's quite good at it; loves to do the color choosing and stamping, but I cut and measure the layers for her (she doesn't think that's much fun! lol)
Well, on to today's Task 3. There's only one step, and here it is:
Add vertical strips, banners or flags, coming out from behind the top and bottom edges of the box containing the photos. The strips can be small or large, close together or spread out a bit, staggered edges or aligned, but should go across the entire top and bottom edges of the photo box.
That's it for today! We'll add some finishing touches next week! Thanks for playing and I always love seeing everyone's take on the instructions!
The keywordfor this month isDGPROG15Aug. Please upload to the gallery and also post a link in this thread!
What is a progressive challenge??? It's is a chance to build your page step-by-step following the instructions (tweaks are fine). Each week you're given more instructions to build on the previous and by the end of the month, you have a completed page. Anyone is welcome to participate, and there's no deadline - feel free to join in whenever you have time.
If you'd like to check out this challenge from Task 1, here's a link. It's never too late to start:
Nicely done, ladies! Diane, thanks for the heads up on having the wrong photo in my gallery for task 3. I updated the photo and it displays correctly when I click on the thumbnail, but the thumbnail itself still shows as the other one, even thought I've tried to update the thumbnail twice!

Now that's weird. =)
Oh well, ... I can still envision it in my head with the embellishments -- so we are good! ;)
