CC813 -REAL PUMPKINS AND OLIVES AND MANGOS, OH MY!! (10/13/20)
HELLO STAMPING FRIENDS!!
I am your hostess this week for our next challenge of colors! Before we get started, we will take care of some business! Last week's favorite chosen by Jeanne.....
Beautiful card by JayBee and here is what Jeanne said: "Janine's background is gorgeous and accentuates her leaves beautifully. A totally wonderful card!"
Congratulations Janine! Here is your badge -
And now to announce our new color palette for this week - I have chosen four colors of fall hues which will hopefully trigger some beautiful fall creations.
We have: REAL PUMPKINS AND OLIVES AND MANGOS, OH MY!!!
Also, even though we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC813 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them). We want to be able to find your cards!
Karen- great colors, thank you! For my card I went with springtime flowers rather than a fall theme- this is a re-purposed card that I reframed and added my own coloring. Embellished with twine and a simple ribbon bow. Here's Love is Kindess

Thank you Karen for these fun colors to work with. I'm not sure if my twine qualifies as a "ribbon" for the dessert option, but since it's a masculine card, I went with the twine. Here's my card:
God demonstrated His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us ... being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. Romans 5:8 & 9
Beautiful colors in this week's color challenge. I didn't add any ribbon but I did add a strip of colored vellum! Thanks, Karen! Here's my card: Hello Autumn

Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this color combination! Subbed Real Red (I don't own it, believe it or not! That has to change! ) for the best-coordinated red I had in DSP. Old Olive is almost hidden but it's there, I swear!

In the spirit of Halloween I was inspired to make this card, both for the Scarecrow challenge and Color Challenge 813. I used a vintage stamp set, fussy cutting my embossed and colored images. Added a full moon and a hand drawn scarecrow. Finished with a pumpkin themed ribbon lower border.
