CC812 Listening to Calypso Music while Drinking Cider and Eating Curry (10/6/20)
Hello color lovers! It's Jeanne today with the first color challenge of October.
Mary said: "I loved the poppies in the rich razzleberry shade and her use of vellum as the poppy base was such a creative idea. She added just the right amount of texture with the background embossing."
Congratulations Penny! The code to add the badge to your blog is below. We will also feature your card on our Pinterest Board. See that here.
Since it's a new month we have a new Guest Designer. Please Welcome Diane aka dcinkit. Diane was my favorite from CC769.
Now for this week's challenge. Are YOU ready for Listening to Calypso music while drinking Cider and eating Curry?
Dessert: Use your favorite Green
Your SCS DT member samples:
Please keep in mind that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have.

CC812 fall blessings
Great colors for the challenge, thank you! I went with a wreath of leaves, adding some black and white stylized leaves images. Added a yellow flower/gem combo, and a multi strand twine bow. Finished with a hand lettered sentiment. Here's fall blessings.

Hello
I tried the reverse stencil technique using brown over the Calypso and yellow aka Curry. Love the look of this!

I have been waiting for a challenge with Cinnamon Cider -- the other colors go great with my new love. I kinda cheated using a turnabout stamp that is made for four colors but here you go. I used Shaded Spruce for my dessert green. https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/3009554?&cat=500&ppuser=109942 Mary Beth

At first this one stumped me. But then I went with the pumpkin theme.

This week while playing my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking, I am trying to use the more current challenges that fit my card design first instead of catching up on the oldest first. I've used all color shades required by the challenge but NO dessert, and I've added a neutral...black. Here is my Mother's Day card for my oldest daughter: Sending Sunshine on Mother's Day!
