CC590 Eating Cake and Pointing at the Wild Sky (07-05-16)
HelloColorChallengeFriends!!
Before we get right to our new colors, let's celebrate our favorite from last week:
Barbara was our hostess and she picked Roberta's (aka stampin'nana) card here!
This is what she said about Robertas card: "A stunning card, summery cool white-on-white, colored elements that pop right out at you, and incredibly clever use of the embossing folder."
Congrats, Roberta! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
And, because it's a new month, we have 2 new guest designers. Bringing her amazing mixed media talents is Ann aka annsforte3. She was the fave from CC567. We also have the legendary artist Dawn Easton aka treasureoiler. Dawn was the fave from CC560 & CC588.
So, on to this weeks challenge. Our colors this week are:
Soft Sky Pacific Point Wild Wasabi Crumb Cake
Dessert will be "at the beach"!!!!
Here are some samples to get the creative juices flowing:
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC590 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card!
Last week Brenda was over-the-top filled with Excitement because her card was chosen as the favorite, and this week it's my turned to have those same feelings! Wow, doing the Happy Dance right now! Thank you so much, Barbara....you certainly have made my rainy day feel sunshiny~

Thanks for such a great-looking color combo to try! Pacific Point is tricky for me on the "comfy" level, so 'challenge' is definitely the correct word, however welcome! LOL
Thanks for the super beachy colors this week, Maura! I luv anything beachy, or nautical so this week's color gallery is especially beautiful to me. Here is my BEACHY BIRTHDAY

Had fun recycling this gift box, which I colored and embossed. Added an apple print, and some owls, along with the matching sentiment. there's a twine wraparound under my blue ribbon, and I finished with a green and orange fabric corner tie. Here's Julia's gift

For today's color challenge- added some pizazz with some orange and a hint of red- you know I love coffee cards and recycling- so I used some fabric strips, a gift craft envelope, and did some "stitching" with my marker. Added a dc "to go" cup and some coffee beans. Here's How've ya Bean?
