It is Pam hosting this week's color challenge. I thought I would go with a classic color combo this week. I hope you decide to join in on the fun!
Let's start with the fave from last week. Barbara was our hostess, and she chose "Love Each Other" by Bailmac aka Pam Stang.
Barbara said, "Pam showed us how beautiful a one-layer card can be, with this week's colors and an added neutral. By using the "direct-to-rubber" technique and a spray bottle, she achieved a lovely watercolor effect. Pam said it was quick and easy, and I say it is stunning!
Congratulations, Pam! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out HERE.
Our May guest designers are in the house. Bringing some amazing design talents with them are Jeanne Knobbe aka Penny627 and Tonda Baldwin aka TondaBaldwin.
Jeanne was Pam's fave from CC643 and then Karen's fave from CC682. Tonda was my fave from CC644 and then Karen's fave from CC646.
Now onto this week's challenge colors
PINK PIROUETTE
BLACK
WHITE
The dessert option this week is to use vellum
For some inspiration here are some samples from our design team!
Please keep in mind, that white we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!
Please put CC685 in your keywords secton (and if you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card
Well, I just logged on to see what our CC is for this week and surprise! Thanks so much for choosing my card from last week’s challenge, Barbara! Also, thanks for letting me know, Pam! Totally made my Monday complete! Now to dream of a card for our color challenge this week.

Watched Downton Abbey and Manor House- both set around the turn of the century- and today's color challenge doubly inspired my card and envelope set. I colored and machine stitched my main bird panel to a fancy embossed panel for my card, and folded recycled pink striped paper for my envelope, embellishing it with pink, grey, and brighter pink ribbons (and a button). Here's Bird card & envie
