CC376: A farewell: A Blushing Peach Crush Pizzazz Pirade (05-22-2012)!
Hello everyone! I am the host for this week's CC! I figure with just a couple of weeks left with the In Colors 2010....this challenge will be a farewell to these hues! Before you go running for the hills, please note the dessert option. Enjoy and have fun! I just know the gallery is going to be beautiful with all of these colors!
Dessert Option: Choose 3 of the retiring In Colors or go all out and use all 5! Let us know which three colors you choose, if you decided to use 4, or go all out and use 5. Also, let us know which of these colors you will miss!
Check out the beautiful samples made by the dt and guests.
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC376 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here.
Betty, a lovely way to say "good-bye" to some very pretty colors. I really hate to see some of them go, but nothing stays the same forever. Thanks for the fun challenge.
That's a lot of pretty colors dropping off the list :( Here's my Brayered Beach card. I hope it's ok that I threw a couple of extra colors into the mix. Thanks so much for looking!
this is such a great idea for a farewell to the in-colors. Wish I could play along-I loved all of these colors maybe with a slight edge on peach parfait and pear pizzazz
No time to stamp today, which is a good thing for this challenge -- those colors, inks and papers, have already been packed/archived. I will dearly miss Poppy Parade, a color I waited a long time for, and Peach Parfait, particularly for fall-color projects. Happy stamping!

Betty, what a great challenge, but a sad one. I love these colors and tools I used. Here's my farewell card.

I remember when these colors first came out that I didn't think I was going to like them, but they sure have grown on me! I was only able to fit 2 of the colors onto this CAS card, but Poppy Parade has become a favorite red for me and I like the subtlety of Pear Pizzazz in the green family. Here's my Floral Sympathy
Here's my card for this great Color Challenge. I managed to incorporte all five retiring colors into this card and did some weaving with the In Color ribbons.
