I am in desperate need to buy more ink. I would love to participate in a lot of these challenges, but don't have most of the colors that are chosen. Hope to be able to participate soon!

If you still want to play you can substitute colors that are close. In your comments just say that you didn't have all the colors and give your substitutions. From my understanding these challenges are to get your creative juices flowing - the rules aren't strict. The important thing is for you to play!
Love that card for the example!! These colors always scare me...so that's why I always try and make it a point to try this challenge. I'll see what I can do later on! Thanks for hosting!!

I'm going to try this one, but I don't have Taken w/Teal or Rise Red. I think I have an old tealish marker that I could try and maybe Regal rose...we'll see what I come up with.

For those of you without those colors, you could try Tempting Turquoise, Yoyo, and Regal; or Brilliant, Red, Yoyo. The color combo is a bright and fun one -- so have fun
I will give this one some play this evening. I know I have Teal paper, but will have to substitute the ink with Sage or Turquoise. Sounds like a fun combo - especially for kid cards! I'm thinking nieces and nephews birthdays . . . teacher thank yous, party invitations . . . hmmmmmmmm.
Keri, you are one of my idols, please tell me you meant that in a good way ~LOL (even if you didn't )
Karen, please I don't want to be an idol....
and no I didn't mean that it was interesting in a bad way at all! I am sorry if that is how it came across....I mean, interesting cause I STINK at those colors.....and with the mood I am in today....wellll let's just say......I am scared to see what I do! LOL I will try to get one done later, I am going on a picnic lunch with my boys and DH and then I have a chiro appt this afternoon....but somewhere in there I will see what I can do!
I really liked this challenge - however, I LOVE yoyo yellow (no dissin' me!) and I'm planning on getting Taken w/Teal soon. I think this a great combo for kids , just substitute Turquiose for Teal and there you go!!
interesting combo... will have to try it when my christmas stamp order arrives later today! the only color I am unsure about is the yellow, i think I've used my ink pad once. I love how scs stretched our creativity. THanks for posting this week's combo!

I think you guys are right....this is a great kids color combo and that is not, shall we say, my strong point. Since I've had more requests for kids' cards I guess that means I can count this as "work" time instead of playtime, huh? ....Off to work I go.....
Hmmm...I'll have to think on this one. I am afraid I might have a stomach bug so I am off to lay down! Can't even get the energy to play with my SAB order that came last night!

Oh, Emily, you must really be sick....an unopened SAB order with free stamps inside. Hope you are better soon!!

I don't have taken with teal ink, but I have cs. Maybe VersaMark?
Cool stamps by CTMH on your card. Just right for a bright surprise card.
hee hee...that certainly wasn't the intent, but it sure seems to have shocked people. Hopefully it won't scare them away -- or the next hostess won't be happy!
Definitely a tough combination but it's great 'cause it's always nice to get out of the rut that I can tend to get into. See here's my first attempt - I have another idea that I'm going to try (hopefully).
Only had the yellow ink pad, but my markers came to the rescue! Fun colors to work with, not sure I'm lovin' what I did though. Thanks for the challenge Karen! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
This was VERY CHALLENGING (but fun) for me....I think my hang up was the yoyo yellow. It's not one of my favorites. I need to wait for the crystal effects to dry, then I'll scan and post.
