I just had a feeling that people would really participate in this challenge. I did a couple more cards for the challenge and then didn't link them up due to fireworks, cranky 4 year olds and a screaming headache this am! Not too much party, probably just not enough water! Anyway...here they are

HERE is my card for the Clean & Simple challenge today....I had planned for it to be the TLC280 as well, with paper posies as the challenge; however, I re-read the challenge (after I had made the card, of course) and discovered the flowers could not be from punches :( Oh well...I tried
The flowers are punched from vellum and layered using Tombow Liquid Glue and adding a flat back adhesive pearl to the center then popped up on the card. The leaves are punched from vellum as well and adhered under the flowers. My inspiration was from this cake: http://www.carriescakes.com/cakes.ph...2&sort=ranking
I left off a sentiment because this could be for a wedding, anniversary, or another celebration of sorts so I will see what I need to use it for.
Combining the parts i liked from 4 different cakes, this is the card I came up with, which, now that I think about it, is alot like my onw wedding cake from 9 years ago.
I got caught up in playing games with the kids today so I didn't get a chance to do my own "playing" until after they were in bed, hence a somewhat late post. These cakes were so much fun to look at!! Mouth-watering works of art (and sugar). Thanks for a FUN challenge. Here's mine:

I coloured this digistamp (a freebie from the Creative Mind of Sylvie) when I first got it and I've never done anything with it. Thanks for the inspiration.
