Challenge Title: What Am I Saving This For? Hostess: Jennifrann (Jen) Keyword: CAS568
Date: Week of 1/13/2020 I know you, because I am you. And I know that you have something in your craft room that you are saving because you don't want to use it up. I know it's fabulous and so pretty and you're saving it for something--but what? Sometimes we have to ask ourselves "What am I saving this for?" and use those wonderful supplies. Share that beauty with the world! And then go shopping for more....
CAS or Clean and Simple Weekly Challenge: Use something that you've been hoarding because you don't want to use it up. Is it gorgeous DP? Fun embellishments? That last bit of favorite ribbon? Let's see it!

I removed the first card that I uploaded for this challenge....just felt it wasn't in the "spirit" of the challenge. Did another card with something that I REALLY horde(and will continue to). : )
I have very little of this twine left and only 1/4 of a piece of cardstock in the blue color, and maybe 1 sheet of the white. I guess I am trying not to hoard it anymore.

Here’s my card using some colored woodgrain paper , a heart shaped rhinestone and a mini wobble element. All 3 qualify as what-am-I-saving-it-for
Items from my stash.
Just noticed that my Wobble Bear card is not showing up in the gallery for this challenge....did I mess up in how I put the challenge info in the title of the card?
Oh my gosh, what a great challenge. I am guilty of buying supplies and then "saving them" for some special occasion. I forced myself to use some of my new goodies and made this: Snowmen Valentine by whoistracy - at Splitcoaststampers
Terrific challenge idea, Jen! I got side-tracked sorting through all the one-of-a-kind unique things in my stash, but it was good because they are all organized now (for a little while). I used a fun shaped brad this time.
LOL - I knew what to use right away. I've kept the Stampin Up Irresistibly Yours specialty paper so long I forgot I had it! (Found on a recent organization / consolidation effort.)
I am playing Challenge cardmaking, and hopefully, catching up on some old challenges as well. Challenge: use something y9u've been saving for some reason. Mine is my last crocheted flower crocheted by my Mom some 10 yrs. ago! I thought it a fitting little gift as this card's recipient was also the chosen teapotter for a May 2019 Teapot Challenge to give her encouragement on the 2-yr. anniversary of her Mom's death, who was her cardmaking buddy and mentor!
My card is for an SCS friend who's birthday was missed in January and who's May 2019 Teapot Challenge was missed. The theme is "thinking of you" since her birthday was so many weeks ago, and I wanted her to know I was thinking about her on her birthday and after as it became more and more belated! In addition, this theme was an option for her Teapot Challenge as well!
