Challenge Title: Sunshine and Rainbows
Hostess: Holly
Week of: 8/22/16
It has been a dreary week here in Texas, with rain and clouds every day. I saw the most gorgeous double rainbow one evening last week, and that inspired my challenge today. I want to see cards with SUNSHINE or RAINBOWS or BOTH! Make sure to keep your cards clean and simple and upload them to gallery with keyword CAS391.
You can see the gorgeous cards in our gallery here: CAS391 Gallery
Samples from the DT:
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenge.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to use the correct keyword CAS391 when uploading
your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenge with any other challenges.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We cannot wait to see what you create!
And the fave from last week's get well challenge is:
Fun challenge! I tried several techniques to get the look I wanted on my rainbow - The stamps I tried first just didn't match my vision . . . in the end the simplest thing turned out to give me the best results. Here is my card: Like Rainbows by bubblestx4 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
PS - Holly - Can you send some of that rain to West Texas ?? We REALLY need it!!

I had some scraps left over from my first card and decided to see if I could incoporate them into todays Pull-up card technique. This card was so simple to put together that I think it qualifies for CAS status . . .
I went a little crazy with the washi tape - but it is in rainbow colors!! Great challenge today Kittie!!

Recently Michael's was having a sale on everything BoHo and apparently that included all their color splash items. I love their color splash products because they look like watercolor, so I picked up these butterflies. I have no idea why the package says they are flowers. Thanks Holly! I'm very tired tonight but trying to get into my craft room & play each day, so I looked at the wrong challenge for the week. I made a card for last week's challenge! That's ok - got to play! Here's my rainbow card. TFL!
