Well, Summer is well upon us and for most of the days here in the south, the sun has been shining bright. For this week's CAS Challenge, create a card using some kind of sun element in your design. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Here is my card for the CAS challenge: I do get dessert - I made the shell dimensional by cutting it in half. the smaller part is glued directly to the panel and the larger part is raised on dimensionals.

It was so nice to finally pull out that great Stampin' Up starburst thinlit to make this card. Also got to use my Crushed Curry embossing powder for the first time. The swirly pattern on the Smokey slate card stock is an old piece of SU patterned vellum. The 3x3 card practically made itself from the items and scraps that were hanging out on my craft space when I finished my card. Thanks for the fun challenge.
