This was a fun challenge. I decided to use faux stitching rather than tempt the wrath of the sewing machine gods.
Here is my card. I think I may have to do another card for this challenge.

Thanks to all who gave me advice after seeing my first card. This one is better, but I should have embossed the sentiment to make it more prominent. I also added a white mat and had to switch the panel to the other side (ooops!).

I have been wanting to try this for a while- I think the challenges to make CAS cards are really hard, and really admire all of the fantastic cards I see posted here. Here is my shot at it.

Well, I finally got mine finished up!! I love to stitch on my cards so this wasn't really much of a challenge. Of course, like many of the CAS challenges, I couldn't just make one card so the challenge was really what layout to use for each of my stitched images!!

This challenge brought back childhood memories. Im 60 something and learned to sew by stitching the hems on flour sacks we used for dish towels. When I saw this challenge I had to try it. I found my sewing machine right where I left it some 20 years ago. The threadnot so easy to find. It took a while for me to recall how to thread the machine & bobbin. I didnt even attempt to fix the tension. This is the same card I did for the IC on Sunday because I thought it would work for this one too. After I get used to using my machine again Ill do another. It was fun. Thanks for inspiring me to try stitching.
