There are some people out there who take their tailgating seriously (you know how you are!) The food, decorations, and team spirit are the important things here. Make a card using your TOP 3 things right now (not including paper and ink)...that can be 3 different stamps, one stamp + twine + die cut, or any combo of three things you can think of.
Keyword: CAS2012fallDT2
(No spaces CAS 2012 fall DT 2 -- not good. If you are concerned about getting it right, copy & paste it into your keyword box.)
By adding just CAS in your keyword box, you will be in 2 galleries. Separate all keywords by a comma followed by a space.
Please also post a link in this thread just in case there is an error with the keyword or if the gallery is being finicky on the judging days.
Submission Deadline: Friday, August 24 @ Noon (EDT) (yes both challenge #1 and #2 are due the same day!)
*New Rules as of Fall 2010:
Please don't combine this challenge with any other current SCS challenge.
Please make only one card. (It's easier to narrow down the field this way.)
Just finished cleaning up from a marathon cooking night. Sounds like a fun challenge - and limiting my favorites to just three will be a real challenge. ;)
Game on...looking forward to seeing all of your awesome talent in the gallery, ladies!

OK, my favorite things currently are: my new stamp set Pleasant Poppies, the awesome CB Rebecca ef, and this chunky, natural twine.. Here's my round 2 entry: Three of My Favorite Things
This is my second card for the fall DT search. This is my fav stamp right now, and I love dry embossing of any kind, and who doesn't like "bling"!!! Subtle bling though, afterall this is CAS TFL!!

I had fun with this one! I like to use negative die cuts as stencils for sponging and brayering (is that a word/) a bg, but had to cut and paste the large labels die to get a narrower shape. Can you see the leaves and butterflies? They're sponged with the punch negatives.

My submission for the second challenge. I used masking, dry embossing, and bling for 3 favorite elements. Kept it very CAS! Thanks, Denise, for a creative challenge.
Hi Dee, My top three things I use on cards right now--my favorite cards are:
silhouette stamps
nature themes (leaves, florals, etc.)
swath of color, either by masking and sponging a small area or using the magical masking techNique (I LOVE THAT TECHNIQUE).
