Susan aka susanbri thought of another great idea for October, to relax, you're into the home stretch!!
Meaning anything that speaks of relaxation such as a cozy fire, a cabin in the woods, something playful like tobogganing or building a snowman, etc.
So let's see those fireplaces, cabins and ways you relax for the Christmas holiday!!
I'm only posting now (ridiculously early) to keep track of what I've done - I've cleared out all the bought card fronts I'd kept for upcycling and they've sped up completing my quota but it does feel like I've cut corners! And, on some of them, I have literally cut corners!
London isn't particularly relaxing but it's my favourite place to visit!
I'm not doing so well this year in working within the suggested theme, but that's okay. This is the Christmas card I decided to do for the shut-ins at my church. Yeah, there was another one earlier this year I thought would be the one, but ended up going with this one. I will be making 20 of them till it's all said and done - all the bases are finished, sentiments stamped and will have the snowflakes all stamped before supper. So I'm well on my way.
Two more for October...4 of 10 so far. I think the Falliday themes will both help and hinder my progress! Help by moving me along with stamping, but hinder because there are some that won't fit into Christmas card theme.
I was able to spend a lot of time playing today, so I made some more progress on my Christmas Cards for October. Angel card is from the Falliday tutorial from Annsforte3 if anyone is interested in trying that one out.
Here are 5 more. 9 of 10 for October now! Whoop-Whoop!
And it doesn't necessarily have to be the challenge as posted in post one here. Those are just ideas to jump start you. A lot of times my cards aren't the exact theme as posted. Just remember to put key word in keywords of CCC16.
