When I say "organized" house I mean something other than what it is right now - a storage unit, the back room of a thrift store, like we just moved in - you get the picture?! lol Eating at the table is impossible right now. For an oversized 2 car garage, I can barely get my small car in it! And 3 out of the 4 bedrooms - you can't find the beds! But, it WILL get better!
I am so glad to have 15 acres in the woods. I have a dear friend that lives 9 hours away. We chat on the phone while she walks the dog. Its great, but I can just open the door and say GO
I leave the doors open all summer, in fact the door is open today. It is 57* F today.. Beautiful!
I shouldn't mention it was only 27 this morning! Ha Ha
Horses water was froze again!
I've missed a few months but have a good start for October.
We are headed for sunny Arizona for a week but I intend to have more done by the end of the month.
Arlene, so sorry to hear about your mother......been there and done that, all except for having her in my house for any length of time. It is so hard losing a mother a little bit at a time! I pray that your mom will be like mine was....through it all, she never lost her sweetness. And God took her home before she lost the ability to recognize us. May you relish your memories and your keepsakes.

okay....with me being behind a few months...I decided to jump a head. That way I don't feel the pressure....now to work backwards to catch up!!! Hey, it all sounded good in MY head! ;)
Here is my card....using a retired set of Holiday Lineup. I worked on these while I was at a family reunion...some of these little elves took a life of their own. As I sat and colored at the table...and the family walked by to see what I was doing!!
I put it in my gallery....but, waiting for approval.

Sorry I have been MIA for several months. I got lots of cards made and was several months ahead, but I knew that there were some family issues that would require a great deal of my time. I did not get my Sept cards made and I may not get Oct or Nov - but I have more than enough cards for this year so I'm not worried. My mother came and stayed with me for about 6 weeks this summer - she has Alzheimers and she was quite a handful for DH while I was working! (dad passed away about 10 years ago) Visited with DD#2 and grandkids for a week (we took 5 generation photos!). When my mother went back to my brother's house, the Memory Care facility had an opening and we moved mom into it. Last month we traveled back to mom's house and cleaned it out and put it on the market to sell (mom grew up in the depression - never threw anything away!). My house is overrunning with things I brought back from mom's - so much history, hertiage and memories! I hope to have some sort of organization to my house by Christmas!
You all have such lovely cards and when I get a chance I will try to leave some love in your galleries! Keep stamping!!
