All caught up with the galleries. Lots of great inspiration from your cards. Now that I'm home from my trip I need to find time to finish my May cards. I bought some Christmas paper pads I found on sale at Hobby Lobby. I wish we had one here.
I agree - it's so much fun to make Christmas cards all year. I've done this challenge for 3 years now and I never feel stressed when November rolls around.
I also agree, although I am behind so far this year. I'm working on my April cards now and might even get them done today. I've been making this kind of Christmas cards since 2008, (I used to make computer generated cards - no stamping or gluing) and this is my third year in this challenge. Eight a month sure beats doing them all in December!
Love the cards in the gallery and wish I could comment on every one!

val I love your cards with the Sunburst technique! They are beautiful and unique, too!
Oh my Gosh! I am so late with Thank you's! I won the April prize! Thanks so much Kelly!
And thanks to both Vikki and Kelly for keeping the challenge going. Lot's of work for so little thanks.

Here's the link to my May card, making 10 of these. I bought this paper as it was on sale and then didn't really like very much but decided that since I had it I would make it work somehow. The snow globe is a $1 Michael's stamp which I really like. Can't believe how deeply etched it is for a $1 stamp.
Marg, you're not the only one behind. I still have to do the last three cards for May. I finally quit making plans for a stamping marathon because something always changes my plans.
I am not doing well with my arm. had a second MRi first doc says, he can't do anything for me.. not his area of expertise
so saw another doc and he left me feeling devastated
he said its so damaged it's not repairable.
saw a rd doc who looked at both MRi's not just reading written reprots and says he can see the same areas of damage on both and nothing was done to repair it with the surgury
PT made it worse
he says no narcotic meds for pain
he wants me to be aware of it hurting so I do not do any ore damage
Makes sense but OMG I am miserable!!
Not to make excuses for not keeping up here, but I have no happy in me for looking at pretty cards.
I have my next surgery on the 8th...
I will get caught up just late.
I didn't think I'd ever see the day my inner cheer leader would break! LOL
Vikki Jo! I'm so sorry you're getting bad reports from every side about your arm. Now you can't even try to ease the pain. "Please Lord, give Vikki Jo some relief and guide her and her doctors to a healing solution." Bless you dear and know that I'm cheering for you. Hugs, Val
Vikki Jo, I'm so sorry about your arm - I do hope they can find a solution for you. Meanwhile rest it, and don't worry about being a cheer leader for us. We're all thinking of you and wishing you the best.

Vikki Jo, I believe your inner cheerleader is just taking a break, not broken. Cronic pain is enough to deal with and nothing tires you out quicker then pain. So, let us be your cheerleader and pray with you for the sugery to be successful.

Vikki Jo, this is so wrong. I'd be sending the bill to the first doctor who said he fixed the tear when he had you in surgery. Chronic pain is hard to live with. I see it in my DH every day. Some days are worse than others. Will pray for you.
Finally! I just finished my last 3 cards for May. Really? How difficult is it to sit down and do 4 cards together? I was going to make all 4 different, but I got a bit distracted after making the first one. Now on to June.
Vikkijo I agree let us be your cheerleaders.......we will keep you going that is what freinds are for. Praying this doctor will correct the problem and get you back good as new. Hugz!!!! to you ......
I don't know what happened to your arm, but my gosh the doctors seem to really be giving you grief! If you don't mind, I would like to pray for you and give this situation to the REAL doctor and HEALER, Jesus Christ. Dear Lord, I pray for Vikkijo who is suffering so much, and needs your healing touch and comforting arms and care for her. Please watch over her and help her to get relief from her pain. I also pray that her next surgery will go correctly, give her surgeons the ability to fix and heal her arm, so that she can be blessed and join SCS again and to those who love her. In Jesus Name I pray - Amen. ---- I hope you will pray this with me Vikkijo.

So sorry to hear about your arm, Vikkijo. I hope everything goes well for you with the next surgery and you're on the road to a full recovery as soon as possible.

Hey girls!
We got in from OK on Monday night and I've been dealing with a sick toddler ever since. I plan to look at everyone's cards tonight and get the database updated.
