I think this is the most wonderful idea on SCS! Love making Christmas cards all year round. I have 8 done, 80 to go. (I signed up for 8 a month.) My friend, in WA, is playing along without uploading her cards. She makes 5 each month, gives me one and I give her one of mine. It's been really good for us: keeps in touch and talking about Christmas cards throughout the year. We did it last year and it was a huge success for her. I must say I benefitted from her lovely cards, too.
My 10 for the month of January are done. I have them posted on my blog. However I tried to upload them in my gallery on here and it said they are too big. I tried doing 5 at a time and even 1 at a time. I tried to figure out how I could save them to a smaller file. Someone help please.
Click on the pictures you want to resize.
Go to 'File' and choose 'export'
Choose a place to save your pics.
Choose the option 'Specify Size'. The limit for SCS I think is 2048 pixels.
Then hit 'Export'.
You should then be able to upload the resized pics to SCS.
iPhoto is similar. Choose your pics, hit 'export' then use the resize boxes. Neither height nor width can be larger than 2048.
Hope that helps!
you have no idea how much i appreciate you!
I was about to type that all up. and typing is so hard with one hand and left handed at that
my mom uses Easy Share, so i have to go over to her house and do it again! lol
i have to resize hers alot

Thanks for posting this. Everyone works with different programs and it's great to know what's out there and how they work.
If you're a mac user, I think Susanbri has posted tips for that as well.

Check out my gallery to also see the variation I made using this week's CAS154 color challenge. I'm pleased with how that one came out as well.
I have to confess the first thing I thought of when I saw this card, because of the frog and the word JOY, was "Jeremiah was a bullfrog, he was a friend of mine.......". It was a popular song the year I got married, way back when.
