I peeked at your bag card -- love it! I'm off to look more closely! It would be fun to split each "Day" into two bags and use this as an Advent calendar, too.
I'll admit, I've had these done for more than a week. With all the upload issues everyone has talked of, it was easy to procrastinate. Uploaded yesterday and I had no problems.
I used LOTS of scraps for these cards. My scrap folder is no longer bulging!
Vikki Jo, I love your 12 Days of Christmas bag card. I read this story about Christmastime. I think someone sent it as an e-mail.
I think Spring might be coming after all. One can hope, anyway. I heard birds singing and I saw some robins in my trees this morning. Of course, I saw some robins in January; they were taking turns dropping off a tree branch into the snow. Starting to see some patches of grass and some of it's green. I sure hope that's a good sign that warmer weather is on it's way. I just hope it comes before June.
I've had my card done for awhile now, but haven't posted it. I am out of town helping my daughter with her kids. She is laid up with a dislocated shoulder. I fly back Wednesday so hopefully I will get them posted on time.
Here's my card. I didn't use any stamps on it though. I had intentions to but once I got everything but the stamping on there I thought that it was enough! I made 8 of these, by the way. Here it is:

I'll be watching for them!
I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. That kinda messes things up for picking a winner.
I can not do much until Saturday.
I will make sure I see all the galleries updated in March before I open up Random.org though!

I might have to think on that one!
I have enough bags left!
Here are my March cards! They are also picture 1 of 3 of a OSW challenge I tried. I used one of the templates suggested but then messed up with cutting it so I had some interesting shaped pieces to use but I did use the entire sheet!
There is one Christmas Carol that has always baffled me. What in the world do leaping lords, French hens, swimming swans, and especially the partridge who won't come out of the pear tree have to do with Christmas? Today I found out at a ladies luncheon its origin. From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics.
It has two levels of meaning:the surface meaning plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality which the children could remember.
* The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.
* Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments
* Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.
* The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.
* The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.
* The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.
* Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit - Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.
* The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.
* Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit-Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.
* The ten lords a-leaping were the ten commandments.
* The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.
* The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.
I have never heard this before! Thanks so much for sharing!
I think I mis-spoke.....er, typed. What I meant is that it was my first challenge card posted, and the first time I tried to do a link. I had uploaded a few cards just a few days (maybe a week?--can't remember) before. I know it is a little correction, but I didn't want to be misleading in any way.
I should have put "very first time here" or "first time for this/challenge".
Caitlyn.. I was in your gallery.. very cool!
If you PM me your snail mail address I would be more than happy to share some ribbon with you. I was on a ribbon kick and had to have it.. never used it! :(
I do try though. Sharing is lots easier though!! LOL
Slipping in just under the wire here with my March cards! Since I procrastinated so long I made all 4 the same instead of creating 4 different ones. So here they are...I cased them, but don't remember where I got the inspiration from...some slight changes though:
I had started some cards a while back, and took them back out tonight to continue working on them. I am not done yet, but I am targeting being done by Thursday night at midnight Pacific time

I liked all of your cards. I don't know what else you could add to the last one, except maybe brads or faux brads on the corners of the image panel. Just adding the sentiment might be all that you need to add.
